Ash is definitely dead
After the ######### done at MoM over 100 times like survivor and about 60 as killer and I saw no more survivors playing with Ash.

Its normal that a character's popularity will drop off after its initial release, especially if no new cosmetics are added.
6 -
Really? I see an Ash at least once a day :v

Well you can't really make powerful Perks when they sync too well with other ones that already exist, and then multiplying that by 4 cause 4 players.
It's another good reason to make the primary objective more than just repairing, so they can make Perks based on those new primary objectives.
Or perhaps make some sort of sync system that makes certain Perk combinations stronger or weaker, idk.

Or nerf. kkk

I still see a fair amount of them but of course not quite as many beings most people unlocked his teachable perks by now. If he wasn't so loud more people would probably use him. The perks are a separate issue because you can use them on any character. MoM has certainly dropped in popularity.

I see him all the time, I myself choose not to play him though because even though I love Bruce Campbell and his character, because his perk was nerfed he doesn't feel capable of being the hero he should be.

Or people unlocked his perk and moved on to other characters? Come on man QQ elsewhere as the devs had answered this numerous times.

People like cosmetics

Muahuahuahuahuahauh.

So what? I mean, what's the point of the entire thread? Subliminally asking for a MoM buff? Otherwise you're complaing because a skin is underused. I could open a thread and say "nobody uses kimono claudette" following this logic.

IKR, how does this affect him in any way. He is QQing for no reason.

When I play a character no one else uses, I just feel unique...

I still play Ash. Hes the ENTITE REASON I bought his DLC.
Stop showing how heavily you rely on perks. ;)

It's good. I don't want hear him talking when he enters the lobby. And his voice acting ingame is actually really bad aswell.

I run him for the puppet's hand cosmetics

People never cared about Ash, it's only about the trash old MoM

I wouldn't have bought the DLC if it wasn't Ash.
I grew up watching Army of Darkness and the Evil Dead movies. That's literally what sold it for me and many others.

Right? Kate is my favorite Survivor I don’t care for her perks at all. Lol
1 -
I bought him, played with him to get the adept and his perks.
Didnt touch him since

I see at least one of almost every character a day. That isn't something all too special.

I see several ash every time I play. I'm playing at rank 5-7 surv, though, so it might be that you're playing in the serious pool.
I'm at killer 12 right now, since the wait times have been pretty rough recently, but I see him a lot there as well

Survivors are skins, I highly doubt people play them for their teachables. Most people have a few favourites they invested more BPs in, so unless they really like the new survivor they will use him for a while and then switch back to their usual.

He's annoying af, I'm glad I don't see him more often.
0 -
people say ah blah blah blah he's not popular anymore duh duh duh but yeah no one play him anymore because his only useful perk got nerfed.
1 -
Survivors are skins.
By the point MoM was nerfed everybody had the perk on their mains.
And if you only used him because of MoM you deserve to be cucked by BHVR.

Gatekeeping.
If people bought the DLC for perks only that is just as a valid reason to make the purchase as you buying it for only the skin.

Get my money back dude! rsrs

I bought Ash for the same reason as I buy everyone else, for his perks. Although I didn’t use old MoM much I just liked having the option to use his perks if I wanted too.

Ash needs a rework or buff on a couple of his perks.
Flip flop - situational
Buckle up - just worthless
Mettle of Man - requires too much for a extra health state - too over complicated needs rework.

I'm not gatekeeping hon, I never said someones opinion was invalid or even implied that they shouldnt be allowed to enjoy it.
My comment was based on how everyone assumes the only reason Ash was ever bought, was for MoM. In which I called out that that point of view simply shows how heavily someone relies on perks to actually do well In the game.
Not once did I say anyone who was guilty of that wasnt allowed to play or had an invalid opinion.
If anything, YOU are gatekeeping.
2 -
Nope i'm not. And accusing others for something you yourself are doing is just another bad tactic for discussing. That is 2 strikes so far lol.
Some people bought him for perks.
Some people bought him for the character.
Some people bought him for both reasons.
All equally viable.
1 -
And did I ever say otherwise? No.
Stop trying to pick apart opinions you disagree with and use then in a bullshit argument.
I love how you ignored the entirety of my post explaining why I even said what I did.
Shows to me your only intent was to try and attack me for "gatekeeping", which by no means of the word did I even do..
However, you did, by trying to say that my post was invalid because someone else has a different opinion. Trying to make my point retroactively moot because of a differing opinion, is gatekeeping hon.
Hell, neither of it may even be gatekeeping, but I sure as ######### am not doing it.
So I'm done with you, because you're either a troll, or absolutely void of the capability to comprehend and respond without trying to fight a battle that doesnt exist.
Bye gatekeeper!

I see plenty of people playing Ash, but most people go back to the survivors they already mained.
Players not playing Ash doesn't really have much to do with the perk, since almost everyone was running MoM on other characters because it's a teachable.
I never played Ash after i bought the DLC.
0 -
I bought Ash because I'm a massive Evil Dead fan. Mettle of man was a good perk but it wasn't worth the price tag.
2 -
I still see Ash players all the time...
