Some new perks (survivor)

Hey there, just dropping in to write down some perks ideas that I had for a long time but didn't think to share them, before I forget them.


Eyes on Me - after being in a chase for 30/20/10 seconds Your aura is revealed to all survivors within 32/48/64 meters and You gain bonus 100% bloodpoints in Boldness category. Perk is deactivated when getting hit or escaping chase.

Comments: My personal favourite, mainly because of the name. Great for showing off.


Acrobatics - while performing a vault press the Active Ability button to cancel the vault. Causes Exhaustion for 30/25/20 seconds.

Comments: Perk was inspired by these incidents when after vaulting something lag would make You teleport back as if You didn't vault anything. Great for clutch plays when You lose a mindgame against killer and wish You didn't vault that window/pallet. Or doing some plays, like fast vaulting a window on 2F on any building but cancelling it and having killer think You fell down while You're safe upstairs.


Blessed - increases other Survivors' Healing speed towards yourself by 25/50/75%. While injured your aura is revealed to other survivors withing 8 meter.

Comments: Pair it up with leader for that sweet 100% Healing speed increase :) Only towards yourself, but hey, you're the blessed one, you deserve it.


Monstrous Shrine rework - I made a discussion about it before, but TL;DR, entering basement puts plethora of Status Effects on Survivors (Blindness, Deafness, Exhaustion, Exposed, Hindered etc.). We can also add some doctor effects, like hearing heartbeat. All that to make entering basement a really terrifying experience :)


Technician rework - 50% chance is really not fun mechanic. Now after hitting a Great skill check you gain a Token, up to 1/2/3 Tokens. In case an explosion would occur for any reason (including teammates working on same generator), the explosion is prevented and a token is consumed.


Edited: One more important perk (my real personal favourite) that I remembered.

Chatty (or psychic) - Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability. Share all Your aura readings to other survivors within 8 meter range. This occurs for up to 1/2/3 Survivor(s). Chatty trumps Blindness effect affecting other Survivors. If the Chatty user is affected by Blindness however, no auras are shared.

Comments: This is an ideal perk to complete my support build (currently it consists of Leader and Prove Thyself and room for one more). How it works is, if You have Bond for example, any other survivor can see Your aura readings from Your Bond if they're within 8 meters. Great if You're working together on gens and can share with others Your information.

    I like it! A few things I would change:

    Blessed: Change the view of your aura from 8 to 16/24/32 meters.


    Chatty: Change from within 8 meters to within 8/16/24 meters.

    And that’s all I got.

    Thanks for feedback!

    About Blessed; I thought increased healing speed to be main focus of the perk and added aura reading just as a bonus, not to rival Empathy.

    About Chatty; as name implies, it's all about survivors meeting and conversing face-to-face. 8 meters range is the same as Prove Thyself, and I'd imagine having a talk at 24 meter would be quite hard ;) (unless You shout, but then killer would hear You).
