I use a set of AKG's 700 series.. but.. they're over kill to be put lightly. A decent set of single driver, quality headphones would do just fine. Dont buy into the gimmick of "gaming" headphones. The multiple sound drivers in those headphones would give you false directional ques and tend to distort sound quality when the sound moves between drivers. You can get some decent entry level akg's, sennheiser's, audio technica's , etc for competitive pricing. Just gotta do your research on what you're looking for.

I use a Razer brand headset. I'll edit if I find out the model.

Razer Kraken is the headset I’ve had for about 8 months now? I love them but I mainly just bought them because I don’t dig deep into gaming headsets and I know razer is popular so I buy lol. You don’t really need the best headsets for dbd, just something that can help you hear better and of course comfortable.

My experience is the opposite. I shelled out the money for a Sennheiser 650 and it helped my gameplay a fair amount in DBD. I can pick up the small sound cues that I used to miss.

I have an Arctis 5. It's wired, has RGB support, and has very nice sound. I can pick up grass movement, breathing, injured grunts, and other things I wouldn't have otherwise. I got mine for under $100.
