Why you doesn't give a code for consol which can be used on the PTB pc so that everyone can test the novelty of the game. Thank you

I will not pay $ 500 or more for my pc and then buy a game that I already have for just the ptb, no I have a laptop I would just like it to be possible to put a PS4 dbd code on PTB pc

They don't, because Microsoft and Sony don't allow two environments of the game. Even Overwatch wasn't able to do their PTRs on consoles. It's also expensive to push updates to consoles.

They will probably will never do it. The only way they will even remotely do any type of testing on console for both XBox and Playstation is to put the New Perks in the Kyf lobby so you can mess around with them in there.
Like what happened to Ash's perks before he got released. They were in the Kyf lobbies before he was released, and the perks worked perfectly.

I think PUBG has a PTS on Xbox. Xbox has a program called Xbox insider which could potentially enable a ptb on Xbox however as you said it's probably expensive and not worth the hassle. Literally only Minecraft has pre launch updates on it.

It would be cool if ppl on console could enter in their player cloud id somewhere on the PC version to be able to try the ptb to test out the new goodies.
I get why consoles can't have PTBs, but it still would be cool to be able to access it some how.

Not sure about Xbox but don't had to approve game updates. Pc doesn't have to be approved that is why ptb is only available on pc

PUBG has a PTB on both PS4 and XBox. It's basically downloading a separate game though

I built a computer for 200$ that could run dbd on lowest settings 60fps.
Just bought an old office comp with an I5 and plopped a graphics card in there. This was like 2 years ago so I'm sure you could get better performance today.

Not really, the point of a beta is to test things and give players a peak of what's to come. Both are very similar

The Beta comes before the game is released
A test server comes while the game is already released
As @drimmalor said, Microsoft and Sony don't support two builds of the same game on their consoles, so it's impossible to have a test server on console

PTB's are a thing on console! Sony and Microsoft do allow test servers
People are being misinformed on this thread.
PUBG has a test server for consoles.
DICE had one for BF1, (didn't buy BF5, so not sure if its on that) and I am sure many other games have them too.
If BHVR want to extend PTB to console the only thing stopping then is time,effort and money

I think what he is trying to say is that he has the game on PS4, and wishes to use the PTB on PC without having to buy the game again on PC because he already has it on PS4. That is to say, He wants PTB access using his PS4 credentials and licence so he doesn't need to buy the game twice just to access PTB.
