Stranger things ( The Bigger Picture)
Although I don’t too much care for stranger things. I think adding the demogorgon to the game opens up new doors for Dead by daylight.
Now there’s a possibility that we can have other mythical creatures. And being that stranger things is huge show. It’s great that the first non human killer is coming from them. This will also bring in new players to the game.
Lore Wise
Having the ability to bring in a demon prince to the entity world shows us how powerful the entity actually is. And that maybe it is within multi- universe.
I’m excited to see what else the devs have in store.

Xenomorph. 'Nuff said.

Xenomorph officially climbed up to 1st place of the most wanted killers now. RIP Jason and Chucky.
7 -
We need an Alien chapter with a Xenomorph killer and Nostromo map with Ellen or Amanda.
6 -
Interesting you mention Amanda Ripley from Alien isolation. Would be a neat little crossover especially so because apparently there's a sequel to isolation in the making apparently.
4 -
I want an actual Gorgon. Turn survivors to stone! :D
2 -
I had not heard this yet. You just made me do my happy dance!
1 -
Demogorgon isn't technically a demon prince. Just named after one. Within canon it's more just an apex predator really.
3 -
Source? I'm really interested about this! 🥺

A sequel to alien isolation has been heavily rumoured the creators are being really quiet about it. We just know it's in the works with no timeframe for release or anything that advanced.
0 -
I don't have a source but I remember hearing that it's been put on hold for a while because other Alien themed stuff is coming first.

I want The Thing even though I know it would probably be pretty weak.

This image was tweeted by allegedly one of the Alien writers as a tease to upcoming Alien ™ stuff.
"The screenshot is of Newt looking suitably innocent and in dire need of someone to come to her rescue in a Work Loader, so the sequel to Alien Isolation might not be a sequel at all. Perhaps it's about Newt, showing the outbreak of the aliens being released on the Hadley's Hope colony, then you have to play as her as she spends her days hiding and scavenging while being hunted by Xenomorphs."
It's all speculation, nothing solid but it could be one of those that's quiet until it's suddenly appearing right before Halloween. Too soon for it this year if I had to guess. Might not even be an actual game. Could be a remaster of a movie or a prank. It's not clear who exactly sent the tweet either.

So what I'm hearing is theres no real proof or indication of a sequel. Gotcha.
1 -
For the tweet - @WS_Dandelion. Check the tweet made on 4th June this year.
He's a game writer who's worked on many well known games like magic the gathering, mass effect, ESO, dawnsgate, outer world's etc. Pretty reputable I would think.

When I say it's only rumours that means it's only rumours. As I said before there have been teases and things delaying any Alien isolation sequel.

This tweet in question has a comment from Carrie Henn saying "yaaas!!?"
Carrie Henn is the American Actress who played Newt. This means that an alien game is in the works but I'm pretty sure it's not by the ones who did isolation.
If you do a little digging you can see snippets of early gameplay. I saw a clip of 2 people getting chased by an alien through some vents, the first guy got away by hiding in a locker and the second guy got caught by the Xenomorph.
It looked very similar to isolation but it looked as if it's multiplayer, surviving with friends against the alien or aliens. It's something which exists but they've had some delays.

I think it's finally possible for a Xenomorph, Ripley, and the Nostromo(or the Sevastopol)
0 -
like, I know it's exciting that we can now get non-human killers. as long as they are just humanoid.
But what I wanted to mention, that no one here has, is that this also means we can get 2 survivors in one chapter, no longer only needs to be one (before you say it's just a skin swap. Steve and Nancy will be Legion, if you were about to say that then...)

A sequel to Alien Isolation was just released
It was a mobile game, that's likely what you just saw. It's called Alien Blackout. Don't look it up, only pain will you find
0 -
Oh no this is another Alien game. It's not yet released. It's by other people.
0 -
All I say to the devs is please give us Child's Play and Alien chapters. 🤗

@AshleyWB there is no alien isolation sequel, we got a ######### mobile game and that's it we sadly wont be getting any alien isolation games for a long time maybe even forever
the only alien game in development now is a shooter mmo by cold iron studios
1 -
also yeah xenomorph in dbd would be really ######### amazing and is a possible now that we finally broke the "only human killers" rule, that would be combining my favorite game with my all time favorite movie
2 -
Still with this misconception. Totally agree with you but the rule was "humanoid". The demogorgon has human bones and they didn't need to make a whole new skeleton for it. Skeletons cost money, if it has basic human qualities it is classified as "humanoid", therefore using the same skeleton to build upon on. It costs money to make a good and healthy skeleton.
To the Xenomorph, they would need to add some things but it still classifies as "humanoid". Just clearing up it's always been humanoid, not specifically human.

Do you really believe that the nostromo ship would accommodate the game? I really want to alien very far from this game.
0 -
Who said it has to be the ship from the first film? Why not the mining colony from Aliens?
0 -
Why wouldn't it?
0 -
@Okapi ,@GrandpaBill24 any map of the alien saga would not remain. It would make no sense to see a trapper or a clown wandering around, or see an alien in Macmillan State.
I love alien, but I wouldn't like to see it on dbd.

@HeyItsNick123andnea no, im talking about the rule they made up on a dev stream, that every killer must once have been human in the story, and a bunch of nerds have been using as a reason why xenomorph wont make it in
0 -
It's not like it makes any sense to have the Plauge prance around a modern slaughterhouse or have Myers in an ancient temple. Now we will have an extra dimensional animal running amok the maps.
0 -
And yet it makes sense for the ancient Plague or Leatherface to walk around more modern maps like Lery's or Gideon meat plant? Or the Demogorgon in a cornfield? It's no less crazy than an alien on those maps.

@Walker_of_the_fog_96 hadleys hope is a just a futuristic lerys
0 -
@I_Eat_Worms with space capsules instead of exit gates? I do not like that idea.
0 -
@Walker_of_the_fog_96 I would of said the exit gates could just be the gates (even with switches that the marines hacked into to open it because the entire colony shut it off to stop the xenomorphs) to hadleys hope but space capsules sound cool to me

I also believe it will be really good for the popularity of the game. Stranger Things is THE big thing right now, it will catch the eyes of more people.
I am still really anxious for a new original killer and survivor though. Hopefully soon, but I understand it takes a lot of time!

You could have Ellen Ripley in one of those emergency shuttles crash landing on any map of your choice and waking up from hyper sleep to find that she brought a Xenomorph with her and it's changed the environment so there's spores and those alien corridors with sticky walls.
Those facehugger eggs thingies and most of all you kinda need an enormous sleeping queen Xenomorph in the basement.
The map could be a lot of things but it does feel important to capture that spacey sci fi feel. A crash site of the nostromo seems fitting, an alternative to the end of the first Alien movie.
I mentioned a theory in another discussion how a really lore heavy take they could go with is that the entity could create the perfect organism because all other killers are bad.
Anyway side note to all this that I wanna add is that I like the idea of licensed chapters having more than one map. It just seems twice as much gameplay variety straight off the bat.

Only problem with a Xenomorph is they can't be controlled. Having the entity control them would clash with the theme of the series, so the "Lore" would have to write it away as the entity only has control of where it's at so when it wants it to go in a match it just places it/lets it in
Even then seeing the hook mechanic could never work with a Xenomorph. Unless BHVR goes the extra mile and adopts a unique mechanic with the Xenomorph. Perhaps instead of hooks the Xenomorph simply drops the survivor by an egg and once they've been dropped 3 times the equivalent of being hooked 3 times, the sacrifice animation is a Facehugger jumping on them.

If the entity is seen as the 'Queen' or more conveniently it's Creator then it obeys.
I hate to spoil but when the evil android bred the Xenomorph in Alien Covenant the Xenomorph obeyed him completely.

So... you all forgetting about Pinhead huh
Rip :(
0 -
Demogorgon is not a Demon Prince.
He isn't actually the character from DnD.
0 -
I've said this before but I dont think the Alien fits in Dead by Daylight. I also am not surprised they went with stranger things because of its popularity but I feel like they are missing a huge opportunity by ignoring Pumpkinhead! Oh well I'm still not playing this game until they get some widescreen support.

The Mori for the xeno would either it pulls you apart or a xeno bursts from your chest.
