How do Nancy and Steve fit in?
So the way survivors end up in the trial is that they died alone right? So how do Nancy and Steve fit in to that? I've never watched the show, but I'm pretty sure the devs said they were both in season 3 which means they are still alive. So how exactly did they end up in the entity's world?

My guess is: Approximately the same way Laurie, Quentin, Tapp, and Ash wound up here. They're all alive in their respective franchises, too.

No. Tapp bled out on the floor in the first movie. Laurie died in the final movie resurrection when Myers dropped her off the roof of the hospital, and Quentin sacrificed his life to Freddy so the others could survive. Not to sure about Ash. Never watched those movies.

Wait, really? Did Tapp die at the end of the first Saw? I apologize, it's been a long time since I saw it! 😃
Quentin definitely lived through the events of the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, and Ash is alive and kicking. As for Laurie, I suppose it's a matter of which continuity you're following. I wasn't even thinking of Halloween Resurrection, I must have blocked that horrid movie from my brain. But she lived through the two that counted, H20 and Halloween 2018!

"He let it consume him, concentrating all his thoughts on wishing Freddy gone. His vision was obscured with roiling tendrils of fog and, when it cleared, he was somewhere else."
Behold a line from Quentin's backstory. He wanted Freddy to go away forever, and he kind of got that wish. It just came at the cost of him going with him.
Ash was in a similar situation. He tried making a deal with a demon and ended up messing up his words (as usual) and sent himself to the Entiity's realm.
Tapp did die though, so there is that.

Dying isn't required to end up in the Entity's realm. In fact, most of the Survivors are probably alive.

Remember reading somewhere that they all died alone and the entity was there to get them at the time of death. Highly doubt it since most of them disappeared.

Yeah, he did die. He was shot and bled out on the floor in the hallway (I think, it's been a long time for me too). You are right, resurrection did suck but I wouldn't consider the new Halloween as a sequel since it is a different timeline. For me it will be Halloween one, two and H20 that counts. Quentin definitely dies in the original. Don't think they were looking at remakes when they considered it.

"Quentin definitely dies in the original. Don't think they were looking at remakes when they considered it."
The thing is though, is that the Freddy and Quentin we got is based off the remake, as they stated before. Even Quentin's perks emphasize this, since the quotes in his perks only came from the remake, and not the original. (EDIT: According to @Rydog he wasn't even in the original, which is what I thought but wasn't 100% sure on it)
Also, Steve and Nancy got in probably because they were exploring the woods, got chased by Demegorgen, and as running they encounter a camp fire and D I E . at least that's my theory.
EDIT: Posted too early, don't read.ok, read now. it's good.0 -
Quentin was not in the original movies at all. He is only in the remake, where he survives.

About Quentin... Is it possible that you are thinking of Glen? Because he and Quentin are similar characters and Glen did die.
1 -
No, Quentin wasn't in any of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies before the 2010 remake.
You're getting Quentin mixed up with Glen, Glen was Nancy's boyfriend in the original Nightmare on Elm Street and died in the famous blood volcano from the film.
At the end of the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street, Quentin and Nancy seemingly kill Freddy, however Quentin is severly injured and is taken to a hospital in an ambulance alongside Nancy. He survived the events.
2 -
Maybe. It's been so long since I've seen any horror movie that isn't Halloween.

Then you probably are then. Quentin is a unique character to the 2010 reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street. He and Glen share many similarities, but there are quite a few differences too. He doesn't start out as Nancy (Holbrook)'s boyfriend, I believe he took a more active role in defeating Freddy, while Glen kind of just laid around and got killed, and Quentin survived with a few stabs to the neck region (I think, might be remembering that wrong). Outside of those though, you could literally switch them around and people probably wouldn't notice. Well, other than Glen being played by Johnny Depp.

If you read Ash's lore in-game he doesn't die, instead he gets taken by the Entity by summoning the wrong demon.
Ash, Quentin and Freddy have post-movie lore in their backstories so probably the new characters will have post-season 3 lore where the entity will pick them up somehow.

More than likely. But what if the devs got the inside scoop and found out they will die by the end of season 3?

Have you seen Season 3 yet?
1 -
No. I don't watch the show and to be quite honest, I have no intention of it.

Most survivors' stories never mention dying, they mostly disappear after going in a isolated place. Kate even tried to fight the Entity when it came to "collect" her.

Ah, I see. Well, you were wrong in your assumption.

I'm very curious to see what Steve's lure is when he comes to dbd [Available to buy in game duh]

Not all Survivors have to be dead in order for them to be taken, my theory is that when there is an emotional event happening, that's when the Entity takes Survivors. (since the Entity feeds off of emotion)
As sad as it sounds, most of the Survivors' emotion before they were taken was probably depression.

Actually, no survivor actually dies when they are taken. And this is gonna make me cry but I'll list the reasons for each.
Dwight- He got so drunk he got lost in the woods never seen again.
Meg- I think she went for a run. Never seen again.
Claudette- Took a stroll, got lost and appeared in the Fog.
Jake- Was taken at some point, there was no body or signs of a struggle.
Nea- Took a dare to tag the Asylum the Nurse worked, never seen again. No body or sign of a struggle.
Laurie- Never actually explained.
Ace- He ran away from his debt collectors, never seen again.
Bill- Taken while at Death's door. Still alive.
Feng- Got drunk a bunch of times, eventually woke up in the Fog.
David- Eventually disappeared to no surprise by his remaining friends. Not dead.
Quentin- Explained above by others.
Tapp- Taken just BEFORE he bled out in DbD's canon events. Which branch from SAW's lore.
Kate- Literally ripped from our world to the Fog by the Entity.
Adam- Got in a train crash, his body was never found nor was there blood.
Jeff- When to the Lodge where he painted the Legion Mural. Never seen again.
Jane- Got in a car crash. No blood or body was discovered.
Ash- Explained above.
Answers found in the characters bios by the way. You just gotta read.

In Quentin's lore he was being chased by Freddy and was pulled along with Freddy similar probably happened with those two

to be fair quentin should probably be dead. not being theoretical here, he just sucks

They were probably messing around with portals and had the misfortune of messing with the wrong one. Portals are opened all over the place in ST universe.

I don't think, necessarily, that all the characters died to become a part of the entities realm? I just think thats true for Bill's case. Since in the Lore it doesn't tell us they died per-say? But I might be wrong.

LAURIE NEVER DIES! (ds)

Except for that unfortunate scene in Resurrection.

Since it's a game this is more than likely a what if situation where this characters die. They then come up with a story that could fill that eventual thing and bring it to the game Or it's just a multiverse where in this universe they died. I dont care much since im able to play with them ^^
