Nurf DS/Buff Borrowed time
Decisive strike is not anti-tunnel. It's anti-killer. If you have DS, and You've been hooked, and rescued without getting tunnelled two times DS is permanently disabled. And it should be 30 seconds. Not a whole minute.
Borrowed time should be turned into a personal perk so you don't need another survivor. It should also be 10 seconds of invulnerableness with a 3 second 8% Speed boost.
As of right now DS is running killers that don't tunnel up the wall. Especially during, or close to end game.
The devs nerfed DS strike so killers wouldn't get stunned four times in a row at the exit gate. well that's still happening to killers that don't tunnel.

Exit gates open. you slug 4 survivors. They've all been hooked within the last 60 seconds (on purpose). Killer watches helplessly as they all stun him one by one. Or you just wait, and let them all crawl to the escape.

I'm breaking my rule by replying further to a WAT thread, but what you just described sounds like you just didn't play very well. If four survivors are slugged and that close to crawling out an open gate, you were never going to hook all of them in time anyway.

That's his point. You messed up by slugging 4 survivors. The fact that the gates are open and you have no kills, means you seriously got outplayed early. DS is fine. Unless you hit every single one of them the moment they got off the hook in some kind of mass Deliverance unhooking, they won't have 60 seconds to crawl since it takes time to hit and down a survivor.
And it's impossible for 4 people to Deliverance at once, so even that crazy situation is null.

Jesus Christ there is nothing wrong with these perks.
DS is easily countered by slugging, it's not hard to remember who you recently hooked unless you have short term memory loss.
Borrowed has been nerfed enough already.

what do you mean, "personal perk"? how would that possibly work? literally getting a free invulnerable would be the most op perk in the game and has absolutely nothing to do with borrowed time. the point of borrowed time is helping your survivor friends when they are getting tunneled. A more likely scenario would be to run borrowed time and the new steve perk, babysitter to phase out the tunnel even more, likely running swf with someone. Mettle of man is literally the closest to this "personal borrowed time" you speak of, and its a terrible perk because nothing is free in this game. you do not just get free invulnerables. that would need to be nerfed a million times over for everyone to accept it. i dont understand how you want to nerf ds and make an even more op perk of a perk that is not even op.

I had hooked everyone three times. they all took turns jumping to the hook on the exit gate. Some of them more than 60 meters away from the gate. So there goes that theory.

Even with NOED, which is clearly in play, and no one running BT, that situation would be almost in impossible to replicate even if you tried. You'd have to down, pick up and hook each survivor with less than 15 seconds between hooks, and still have all of them unhooked and down again within 60 seconds of the first unhook...

You had 4 survivors alive and the gates were open. Only the doctor can help you now.
Seriously, if the gates open, you've lost. If you can pick up a few cleanup kills, good for you, but your objective is to slow down gens long enough to secure kills. The fact that these perks capitalized well on that failure, doesn't mean they need a nerf.

Why should Borrowed be buffed in the way you say it should? Give reasons, all borrowed really needs is to be reverted to the black and white bleedout timer (but keeping it pause in proximity not terror radius of the killer) in my opinion.
To be frankly honest, the haste bonus you mentioned wouldn't really do much (unless combo'd with Hope at endgame) and it DEFINITELY shouldn't be a personal perk, because then only one person would need to run it, it should only be for the person you unhooked, not for yourself and the person you unhook (coming from an entitled survivor main who's actually having fun getting to red ranks with Freddy)

Are you really going to unhook in my face, oh borrowed time well let me just blink up to you, hi there soooo ready to be hook again 😏😏 make sure you tunnel and camp everyone with these perks just to teach them a lesson for making killer job lame and boring.
But on serious note just slug its only counter to ds, even if you dont tunnel ds timer feels like it last forever so slug use them as bait for others

in what situation is it even possible to hook all 4 survivors, have them all get unhooked, AND slug all 4 of them in a matter of 60 seconds? I'm so confused at the series of events you claim took place

Unfortunately, I think a DS nerf is highly unlikely because too many Survivors view it as a “get out of jail free card”. There would be an outrage if DS didn’t turn every bad play into a safe one or didn’t grant them guaranteed hook immunity.

In another post he also says he hooked everyone three times. I am unaware how survivors can DS the killer or crawl out after that.
In his original post he also seems to suggest the idea that if a survivor is rescued and not tunneled TWICE, that the perk should be disabled. Again implying that DS can be used after third hook lol.

Personally, I think DS is fine for the most part, and even when it does activate on a killer who doesn't tunnel, those cases are far in between. If I was forced to change DS, I would drop the timer to 30 seconds, and make the timer pause while in a chase or while in the dying state.
BT is really good, and I prefer it never gets touched because it has a great counter balance effect. You don't know if someone is running BT, so you have to be safe and go after the rescuer. This benefits everyone who uses and don't uses the perk because the killer can't rule out if they have BT (which means no tunneling). Therefore, even if the entire survivor team doesn't have BT, the killer doesn't know that and is forced to play safe or risk it. :)

Of course, they could just not down the guy in the first place, but that won’t matter. People now still pick up knowing damn well a guy probably has DS. Its just going to be complained about no matter what. Like you said, the cases of non tunneling killers getting hit with DS currently isn’t a common occurrence at all, and I find this to be more than offset by the fact a survivor can legit get tunneled and be unable to use it. All in all, it makes sense to just leave it alone.

I don't mind DS because you can just go after the rescuer in most cases. If a survivor is being reckless, that's a red flag that they have DS and want you to waste time on them.
Also, if you really dislike DS, use Make Your Choice because it has a built in DS timer. When your MYC timer expires, you should be safe to pick up the slugged survivor. :)
