Pounce is specifically not a basic attack, and unlike Ambush is designed to be used mid chase. Thus you can use that to down your obsession and run STBFL on him without losing stacks.

That is true it could be really nice to use on him. I still wish it worked on basic attacks though

NOT GONNA WORK, Hatchets dont count as basic attacks either and you lose stacks of stbfl when throwing one
