What do you think is the advantage of using: M1 or dash with demogorgon?

I don't know exactly the distance of the dash, but in the video of the revelation you see something ... short, so my question is, what is the benefit of using it? Does it give us an advantage?

Example on the stairs chasing to Nancy:

""on the demogorgon stairs he could have hit a simple hit "M1" instead of wasting time with the ability of the dash ... if it had great reach, in chases it would be more used, but it It looks very useless.""

I think that being able to take a basic hit "M1" I prefer not to waste time and go to M1, instead of loading a blow that Demogorgon slows down and ... goes straight.

Perhaps it is a very weak ability and only works in medium loops.

All this I say, after reviewing the killer revelation video a couple of times, looking at every detail.

What do you think? The dash will be useful? Or will it be an unused skill that is only used for farming points?

    Depends on how far the lunge is, how much demogorgon slows down while charging the ability and how much control you have while lunging at a survivor. I really hope the ability will be good.

    The same type of advantage with Pig if I had to say


    It could be really good or weak at loops. He doesn't seem to have the full control Pig has in her dash so it could actually be pretty weak

    i bet it wont count as a basic attack so STBFL will be good on him to chase the obssesion, it also seems to have a big hitbox but idk

    I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure I recall them saying the pounce attack would have a slightly bigger than usual hitbox.

    yeah something about a cone-shaped hitbox (which i thought every hitbox was shaped that way but i guess not)

    The last dash you see when the demogorgon hits dwight seems to be near the max range since it seems the animation nearly ended before hitting dwight. as you could see the players didn't actually play very well compared to the level of rank 1 but with that dash range i can see it being very useful at many loops, jungle gyms, basically any long corridor, and obviously out in the open. Edit: there is also possibly addons to increase its range.

    You’re slower when you charge up for the dash soo I don’t think it’ll be that useful as you would probably hit them faster when you would just follow them and use your m1. Can’t tell for sure until I tried in the PTB though.

    The dash has not much control.

    Its more like a billy chainsaw dash.
