What's something you love about Dead by Daylight
There are enough posts suggesting balance and killer vs survivor ect. But how about you just say something you like about the game, what's the thing that keeps you playing?
I personally just love the theme and aspect of the game, being chased by a killer/ chasing people is a dope idea for a game and I'm glad the devs went with it

Perk Wise: Self Care.

Perks system
Try to predict what perks are that killer/survivors have everytime is really fun and give fresh feeling to the gameplay.
Because there are many perks for nowadays and each player can only has 4 perks slot, so that's make each player has there own unique build (even meta is exist), and doesn't has a guarantee build.
Moreover, this system is the main reason why I left Identity V and go to play Dead by Daylight.

I can kill people as my favorite slashers and it isn't weird.
I also really love the science behind perk builds, it is very enjoyable to combine perks together and see them compliment each other in strange and unusual ways. Enduring and Spirit Fury is a classic but Furtive Chase and Dying Light with an Ivory Mori isn't something that actually benefits you but is fun to pair together because both of their features combined create a situation of duck, duck, goose. Weird perk combos like that is fun to find and I imagine creates some funny or scary situations on the Survivor side, I wouldn't know since I don't meet any Killers who do what I do on the PS4.

I don't really love anything about this boring game. They refuse to add Stranger things as a chapter, like it would be excellent to add, but I guess they don't want to capitalize on season 3.

The lore.
Trying to piece together the lore of such a complex mess is honestly really fun. I look forward to every chapter not because of the killers, or the survivors, or the perks, or the maps, or even changes to how things work. I look forward to them for the lore that these things add to this ever-growing game.

The music.
I found it amazing how they have the music build up dependent on how close the killer is to you, and then its just straight fire once you're in a chase. I stg I'm dancing during chases xD
I actually have tons of dbd music on my phone and listen to it at work. Soothing

Everything about survivor, I love. Leatherface is my favorite killer and the only one I enjoy.
Also finding out Ghostface has a dirty side, @Doc_W__HOLLIDAY will understand.😂

Well there are some things I love about this game
I think it's awesome that we got iconic characters like Micheal, Freddy etc in the game
I like the leveling system, despite being grindy.
I love perks and I like experimenting with different perk builds.

Honestly, the community.
We all give each other a load of flak, but at the end of the day I've made a few dozen friends and many more memories.
The Devs & Mod team are ok too, I guess :P

I like the chase mechanic. Flaws in the map design left aside, chases are super fun and the reason why I'm playing this game.

well i like the game. simple as that, no reason in particular, just loved the idea from the beggining. i didn't had the chance to play it from launch, but i started to play it in april 2017.. of course i don't play it too much, few games when i have friends online... i hate it too sometimes(you can see my other posts where i just complain without a good reason, about things that may happen sometimes). in short... i love the game because They(devs) Did a Pretty Good Job So Far!🤣

I personally really like the community.
Now, hear me out.
I’ve met a lot of nice people through the official discord, and I highly recommend it for both sides.
I won’t lie that the community can be annoying, but that’s just a small price to pay in my mind.

r/woosh is suppose to express sarcasm, I knew that it was announced. I literally said 50 seconds in one of my replies that I knew it was happening and I'm well acquainted with the news. Look no hard feelings, but It doesn't make sense if I don't quote it, making me look more like a goofball, haha.
I understand though, I'll stop. To the OP, I don't like term of "love" but I often enjoy how competitive and spine chilling a game can become, both sides being reasonably on the same level, no constant gen popping. That is what makes the game enjoyable for me.

Honestly just having fun trying to kill survivors, but not being toxic about it. Like I played Dr and afterwards the stories were OMG that's a scary build but it was so much fun. Only got 1 kill but they had so much fun so did I. Also I try to tell people to have a good day/night just to help alleviate the toxicity in this game. Too I just bought most of the dlcs so it's fun to learn them.

I share your opinion, I love the "horror movie like" idea where you get chased by a Killer or you chase a almost helpless person. Its a insane nice idea and its really fun to play besides the downsides of the game.
And I love the story and character design of most of the original killers such as:
Billy, Spirit, Plague, Huntress and mostly Legion <3
