Why can flashlights completely delete Wraith's power?
Why do flashlights burn Wraith completely out of cloak and stun him? I just played a Wraith game vs. three flashlight carriers, and I basically could not use my cloak, even for the speed boost alone, because someone would always immediately flashlight me out of it. I understand and have no issue with flashlights as an overall game mechanic; survivors can use them to stun a killer, and the killer must take care to play around them. But Wraith essentially has no chance against a squad of flashlight-users. They don't even have to be aiming it at your head to do it.
@Peanits Why do you guys think this is a good idea, at all, especially considering Wraith's map pressure shortcomings? Can you share your design intent around this particular weakness, and why you believe it's still necessary as the game exists right now?

Wraith needs a buff
And this downside to him makes no sense

He, uuhhh, has an add-on that removes the light burn effect entirely

Your problem that you went for the game with 3 survivors with flashlights as a wraith. Pretty stupid of you.

I think all those crippling item weaknesses should be removed because they're dated design choices that aren't reflective of the game's current state (Trapper being weak to Toolboxes, Wraith, Nurse, and Hag being weak to flashlights). Note how the last Killer that had one of those weaknesses to an item built-in was all the way back in Chapter 3 with the Hag.

I think the problem starts with using Wraith at all.

But wraiths only power is his invisibility, If you see him you've countered him and thanks to his Shimmer that's incredibly easy to do. Flashlights Burns in my opinion are unnecessary, and an outdated concept.

It is an outdated concept but that doesn't mean the devs will change anything. Its such a core part of his design at this point.

actually flashlights arnt as powerful as they used to be against him because no you have to have it on him for almost the whole animation without his speed addons and rarely anyone will burn you if their not using purple adons, back in the day it was much easier to burn the wraith because you didnt have to waste almost all of yoru flaslight for it

I didn't, actually. Chests are a thing, and someone threw in a purple coin. There was a single flashlight in the lobby.
