Is this legal If I block a survivors in the wall. Then let him dead by the end-game system.
I played a game that I want that survivors dead by the end-game system. All the gen is done. But other survivors didn't open the door to start the end-game system even 2hrs passed they just all afk in the map. Is this ok ? I mean this bodyblock didn't break any official rules in the game?
I need an official anwser. Please sir.

technicaly according to the game rule it isn't taking the game hostage since they are going to die.
But it is incredibly douchy.

2 hours? Why wasting so much time on such a petty thing? Even if it was legal, it would still be incredibly stupid.

Technically it's okay as they can start EGC to end the game but if you actually did it for two hours instead of just hitting the guy I'm gonna have to ask how on earth is that even remotely worth it?
They could've left, you could've hit them instead of blocking them. Both sides were absurdly over the top stubborn in your example. If you just want to see the animation you could've played several games in the time you stood there, and if it's to "punish" them for some wrongdoing then that's insanely petty. At BEST.

Everyone sucks here, but the killer is more in the wrong. Logically speaking, do you really think this game waa designed for you to get kills simply by bodyblocking? Like seriously, are you of limited intelligence or just a troll because your life sucks?

I'm no dev, but I would say it is not okay if the EGC hasn't started. It may be a standstill, but you are the one preventing the trapped Survivor from playing and putting them in a position where they only thing they can do as an individual is DC (whereas the teammates are simply preventing the Survivor from dying). That to me would fall under holding the player hostage/griefing, which is a bannable offense.

I think you are right, just do this for meme. Nea need to kill this survivos by herself. During this 2 hrs I watched a hole CSGO Major game. Sorry, guys I think I have guilty. I won't play like this next time.

I'd say it's not legal. The survivor caught in the corner had no power to start egc. Unlike old hatch stand off where the game being held is both sides fault. The one survivor that was stuck can't force their team to open the gate. So I'd classify that as the game being held hostage.

I caught 2 survivors in one of the inshot fence parts on the Coldwind maps where totems spawn now during egc, door was open, both went to cleanse the same totem and i body blocked both for 30 secs till the entity took them. If i got banned for that it'd be a joke.
During egc when the doors are open i think its fare game to body block survivors.

It (to me at least) is fair game if there is at least one other survivor that can complete gens and open the gate to start the egc. It is no different from the old hatch standoff.

Ok. Next time I only do this after gate open.

You ever had a 12 hour hatch standoff?
Sounds like both sides were being dicks.

That is okay because the game inevitably ends regardless of your inaction. Once the gates are open and the EGC starts, you are allowed to bodyblock a Survivor until that Survivor is killed by the Entity.

You should of just opened the gate yourself and be done with it rather then wasting 2hrs

Due to the survivor that was trapped not having anyway of exiting the game other than by DCing...yes...you are holding them hostage. The fact that other ppl COULDVE done something to end the game doesnt change the fact that that survivor was stuck for 2 hours with nothing they could do to end it EXCEPT to DC.
