Stranger Things Chapter Lore
At first glance, it doesn't seem like the demogorgon fits in the realm of the Entity with two new survivors. I'll point out the problems and the answers I came up with.
Problems:
- The Demogorgon isn't human and he can't feed the Entity.
- The Demogorgon just wouldn't obey the Entity and kill survivors on their own.
- The Entity brought up two survivors that know each other for the first time.
My solutions:
- This time, the Entity made a risky move bringing a monster to the realm but he made it up by bringing not one, but TWO survivors which know each other and the monster very well which can generate a lot of strong emotions the entity can feed with.
- (STRANGER THINGS SPOILERS WARNING) In the world of Stranger Things, the demogorgons are controlled by the Mind Flayer which guides them and controls them to do what he wants. The Entity, being a much powerful being, took one of the demorgons which lost control to the Mind Flayer and now the Entity controlls it/or limits it making it hook survivors instead of just ripping their heads of.
- As I said earlier the Entity brought two survivors to make up the lack of feeding potential the Demogorgon can provide.
I might update this post if the Dev Stream on Thursday gives us new lore information or if you give me more problems you find with this new chapter, thank you for your time.

Seems solid.
But remember, the Entity feeds off ALL emotion, not just hope. Even beasts have emotion, and in their case they have unbridled pure emotions. Could feed the Entity better.

That makes sense, I'll take that in count when updating the post after the stream :)

I think the entity can be the Mindflayer, that would close many things of the lore that remain open.

Kinda sucks that we got little to no lore in the dev stream but whatever, hopefully if we have a ptb tomorrow, that's where we'll discover more lore.

This chapter's lore kinda bothers me as well, they'd better come up with a good explanation on why the Demogorgon obeys the Entity.
