Poor SWF party... they didn't stand a chance
To be fair, I found the rank 19 survivor within the first 20 seconds and she pretty much accepted defeat. Guessing the rank 5 is why they matched with me.

The thing is when i do swf, we are all over the place with ranks, but we HELP each other as best as we can do, use perks to sort of aid one another and work as a team.

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to be played. These guys just fell apart but did try assisting each other. Will post a link to the game once it's uploaded.

See, that sad part is this is how people are boosting their rank in swfs. They face lower tier killers and do the work to rank up. Match making wouldn't have done that from a solo perspective.

The other extreme is equally frustrating. When you have got 3 red rank players matched with a yellow rank killer, because they queued with a brown rank buddy.

What is that screwed up matchmaking?! I know they have to stay together as a party, but really?! It matches them with a Rank 1?!

They were doomed to lose. The squad didn't even tell the rank 19 to equip one of their perks.

Probably not a SWF team. None of them had borrowed time. Also the matchmaking has been a mess lately. I had two rank 20 survivors without perks and two purple rank survivors in my game a few hours ago. All of them were solo players (none of them joined the lobby at the same time).
Not sure what's going on right now. Matchmaking wants to bully people apparently.

But, to answer your question as you're clearly to incompetent to understand the context of this post, the reason for posting this is to highlight the issue with matchmaking currently. I'm defending low rank survivors who get paired with high rank killers and vice versa.
Your post reflects poorly on your intelligence.

While you are a "bit" higher than their highest rank.
Generally, thats how swf should work imo. With a killer matching the rank of the better ranked survivor.
Otherwise people just abuse it

There was no killers around r20 so the game mashed them together after they spent a long time in que.
You are bragging about killing a bunch of brand new players. Congrats.
The fact they have garbage perks is usually a good indicator...

1. The problem is that, after a certain amount of time, the MM matches you with ranks further away from you which causes weird mix ups. Fix: Just put a maximum difference in rank f.e. 5.
2. Swf are matched with the rank of the player who created the lobby and not the average of ranks at the moment. This explains match ups like shown. Fix: Match with average or scale the "average" with the difference between the highest and lowest rank to counter abusing.
F.e. >5 ranks difference = average+1
>10 ranks=average+2 etc.

I know, thats a bit extreme, but when the boosting and trolling of lower rank killers stops like that i like that solution.
