Why is PC DBD better than console?
I play on PS4 but I watch a lot of gamers play on PC and I’ve noticed some differences in their game compared to the ones on console.
Like you can see a killer’s red stain much more clearly through walls on PC and not at all on console. Obviously playing as Nurse is way more fluent on PC too. Just wonder why the game isn’t the same for both?

60 fps on pc you can play all killers in pc... as well.

Pretty sure the red stain thing is something that happens when you select a certain graphics quality setting, which obviously isn't available on consoles.
Other than that I'd say it's mostly performance differences, as well as the different input method (controllers) and the more restrictive nature of the way you look around with a controller, especially with the range of sensitivity options. I see a LOT of people wanting the ability to get their sensitivity higher on console.

Just change the graphic in low resolution. You will now can see the red stain through wall

As far as I know, you can see the red stain through walls on the "LOW" graphic setting on PC. I thought that this is the setting that is chosen for Console, as they seem to struggle with frames...
Also there are not so many lag spikes, except when the killer plays the game on a potatoe

Seeing the red stain through the walls makes the pc version worse not better.

Seeing the red stain through any blocker (i.e. walls) is a bug (verified by BHVR) that was introduced with the engine update 10 months ago. This is only 1 of several bugs created by the update, that remains unfixed. Based on BHVRs track record, it MIGHT be fixed in about a year or so.

Ahhh ok! Yes this very true. Definitely don’t feel as fluent on console like I see PC players lol

Frames are pretty bad on console but I don’t believe I can see the red stain on the lowest quality

Console is poorly optimized and laggy. Oh and Pc has access to the PTB :/

60+ fps (if your hardware has the power), multiple zu customization options, ability to disable vsync and AA for an even better experience, MLGA, mouse and keyboard outclasses controller by far, and probably more reasons I can't remember rn.
DbD PC >>>>>>> DBD console

Hahaha worse are you ok? It makes looping so much easier

It depends which side you're playing or if you like more or less of a challenge. You can turn your back as killer but then you're usually not looking in the direction where the survivor is likely running and have to flip that coin

Oh....no way? I thought that was just a PC thing lmao. Had no idea it was a bug!

You can use that for some mindgames, though.
