A question for survivors
Why do so many of you despise us whom like killer so much ..? Some say outlandish this just to make killers into even more playthings than they already are most of the time..yet then I get some whom actually take the time to message me for actually daring to learn nurse on console and are very nice..so what's the deal? Why do you hate us so much ?

Toxicity is from both side.
Bad survivors influencer teach how to t bag and trash talk, killers influencers teach how to tunnel and be sweaty for a 4k...
For people that find that kind of behaviour and content relevant, they become something else and forget that a game is initially made to enjoy and have fun, but just tend to do like their" idols"..

Yeah I don't understand that either… Although from my experience this kind of "survivors" are the minority of the community (at least I hope so…). Same can be said about minority of the killers' community. However most of toxicity of killers I've seen is simple not knowing how to play at low ranks. I can understand that fresh killer player doesn't know how to play properly so he camps and tunnels. Did the same... At the same time most toxic survivors are around green-purple ranks, but their hate to killer mains might come from times when they were in low ranks and got tunneled and camped by inexperience killer.
Just my thoughts…

Hate ? I don t know. Maybe cause there 2 different sides that emotionally react differently.
Survivors have the "real" game over, in every video game, death = loose, and some people are just bad at dealing with this feeling. The direct result from this is they gonna blame for what did apply this emotion to them : the killer.
On the other side, killers dont have the game over feeling. They just have an "entity happy / not happy" and in the worst case they only can blame themselves for a bad performance. And thats why, maybe this affects killers more. Blamed by themselves (frustration) and by survivors.
That could lead to the feeling you got titled on this thread.
Its not hate or a side. Its people and their reaction.

For entitled people probably.
But for neutral people that play the game as a whole, both sides, there s no "factions".

Ita just people man. Just played a game where the surv's played a "great" game and had the gens going in like 3 min. (I dont want to hear a word about map pressure) all the lame perks us killera have come to hate. And the one surv who would have been sacrificed dc'd. There buddies all scroed 20000+ so why leave? Cause people suck

I would disagree on tunneling. It sucks, but it isn't toxic. Gen rushing isn't toxic, it's efficient. So is tunneling.

I don't despise killers in general. Just the douchey nod and slap on the hook ones. Probably the same reason you dislike the teabagging ones. I play solo, and killers tend to think I am in a sweaty swf. They nod and slash and camp. And my teammates are just usually crouching around the map. *sigh* Sometimes I will message a killer. Most of the friends that I have made in this game have been people I met that were the killer, though.

I don’t hate survivors or killers, I hate the people who send death threats, messages wishing death and that is it. I don’t get salty but I don’t think they’re good people.
