How do you feel about players hacking achievements of the game?

I believe that these people are not honest in the game. In any case, my experience shows it. I began to meet quite often with players whose 10-45 achievements the game received at the same time and on the same day. I honestly earned all my achievements. Played for every killer and spent time on it. It annoys me because the value of them is lost. Where you can send complaints about such people.

I don't care really. It's not they hacked anything in the game to get an advantage over others.

These people are just as dishonest in other ways. Many have probably stretched the image on the screen and I notice that. Many of them are toxic. This is The experience of my statistics. Usually they like to write two different things in chat. And because I don't think it's trivial. The value of achievement is your experience. Playing for the plague and trying to get the achievement, I didn't spend a few hours. Or complete Michael's achievement to kill all 4 with your own hands in the third stage of evil. It was difficult because DS, because the survivors just jumped into the lockers. Such people have no right to have these achievements and write to me in the post-match chat-what I am, who my mother is and other insults..... At the same time, I played with them without a tunnel and without hook's guard.

Doesn't give any advantage so I don't care, even though in my eyes it completely defeats any fun you might get out of achievements.

If the devs deemed it a problem they could make the achievements "serverside" as that's the way to defeat the common method used to spoof achievements. There's certainly some variables that should be secured in such a way due to a deranking exploit that might or might not still exist.

I don't know if you're on PC but I'm fairly sure that steam stores it if you play in offline mode then steam ques up your achievements for the next time you register as online.

Note: Offline mode doesn't actually mean you're offline. Just that you've changed a setting to hide that you're playing from people on your friends list (I use it so I don't get messaged by people when I'm in a rough mood or something)

That's so sad. Who cares about people who are like that?

Thats really sad. While Im glad theyre not ruining actual matches by using speed hacks or something, hacking achievements... The whole point of "trophys" is to take pride in an accomplishment. why would a person steal something thats just symbolic for an accomplishment?

Achievements, trophies, they don't apply to the game so I don't give a #########

    I don't really care about other people's achievements/trophies

I'm proud of those I earned but they're not that important

"the value of them is lost"

Listen buddy, achievements didn't even have a value to begin with. It's meaningless. They only exist to keep you playing even when you don't want anymore. Get over yourself and don't pump up meaningless things

It seems like the nerdiest thing possible to get banned for imo

I don't get how meaningless achievements are giving someone the right or not the right to harass someone else.

Okay I didn't know that, interesting. Well that changes a lot in terms of calling someone out for hacking. If that's true, u can't even call someone hacker who is using legacy but with prestige achievements unlocked after the deadline. Weird, I thought devs look into the achievements to ban people for hacking legacy or other stuff related to achievements.

If you read through this forum, honesty, character, humanity, decency, and sportsmanship are not present. Most of the posters here care only about themselves and their experience. I would not waste my time talking morality and honesty here.

I know for a fact that it doesn't track hours when you're using offline mode, tested that personally. (I have a few games I've played for several hours that only have a few minutes on them according to steam). I haven't personally tested the achievements though. Just know a few of mine on stuff like Rain World are incorrectly dated and grouped up so I've been working under the assumption it works the same.

Okay, I checked it and I'm correct. My entire first set of achievements for a weird shoot em up I have are all dated and timed for the exact same minute despite that being impossible. I'd played in offline for the sake of not having questions asked by friends (Humble Bundle has led to some questionable purchases in my life)

Toxic behaviour and stuff like that is an issue.

Achievments? Can't say that I care... I barely care about mine

I don't care, same if someone has hacked legacy or hacked cosmetics in general. I'll only report if your cheating/exploiting
