Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

killers shoudn't see the broken status effect on the HUD

here's why:

second wind: if I see a survivor getting broken after being rescued, you can bet i'm not gonna let him heal while working on gens- encourages tunnel

No mither: if a survivor has no mither, i'm not gonna slug him, that's like sluging someone that you know has unbreakable

Deliverance: doesn't affect him too much, but might be tunneled thinking that it's second wind instead

suggestion for no mither: start healthy, once injured you have the broken status effect for the rest of the game

I think this effect in the HUD only encourages tunnel, but i might be wrong. thoughts?

Then people will attack the injured survivor, literally the only way to atleast prevent tunneling is deleting the hud

Honestly I prefer less information all around.

I'm not a fan of seeing status of survivors I have not directly caused.

I'm not a fan of being given free information as to what Hex a killer has for doing nothing.

I also hate that I can tell when the obsession is being chased for no reason at all.

I like trying to figure this stuff out on my own as both killer and survivor but I may be in the minority here.

If this is how you feel about these perks than I'd say running decisive strike is the perk for you. It combos well with those perks, practically guaranteeing 60 seconds of not getting hooked.

Basically what Shy said here. Survivors got actually too much information about killers, driven to absurd heights with OoO in a 4man. It would be very nice to be able to see the loadout of his teammates as a survivor and as a trade you can't see if you're affectioned by a killer perk in any way.

Survivors should get several information buffs, like bould-in bond, to bring swf and solo on the same level.

I kinda agree with the No Mither perk, that should be the only perk where the killer doesn't see the Broken Status. I also think Survivors should be able to see other Survivors perks and item addons that they're bringing in the lobby too.

If you bring a perk that breaks you, be prepared to run or hide.

And actually that's not such a bad idea.

In return we can disable status effect notifications, like Killers want.

As long as both sides get less information from the other I'm all for it. Figure out what each other is packing from observation in game alone.

    That works for me.

I have the opposite of your opinion: killers get too much information on survivors, it starts from the lobby screen and all the way in game.

Then tell me this killer informations.

SWF(lobby),items(lobby),scratch marks,HUD, blood, DS and sound.

I think this are all killer informations.

    I think.

And survivors have SWF informations, 50-70% of the killer perks informations,HUD, sound, heartbeat, red stain and some survivor informations(kindred as example).

Your right and survivors shouldn't see exposed or hex statuses

Imagine how much longer every he perk that's not ruin would last. Someone just got 1 shot with devour, but you don't know if it was THAT, or a different perk or maybe just an ability.

On another point though, informing the killer on who the obsession is is kinda required for obsession perks to function. I don't wanna lose STBFL stacks because I hit the wrong P3 Claudette without realizing it.
