Generator repair speed cap

Generators can be completed extremely quickly if multiple survivors work them, and with perks like prove thyself the time it takes to repair a generator gets even shorter. So, should we introduce a cap to the speed of which generator progression can be made, or maybe create a few rules to make perks and items less efficient with gen speed.

•An idea i had was to make it so that a generators repair speed should cap at 2 survivors, and anymore survivors that would go to work on a generator would only gain co-op points and repair points

•Perks that increase repair speed do not stack, if a survivor were to use both spine chill and prove thyself to repair a generator, they would only gain the repair speed buff from the stronger perk

•Toolboxes can only be used on their own, if a survivor with a toolbox wanted to help repair a generator that another survivor was currently working on, they would not be allowed to use their toolbox with the other survivor. They would either have to find another generator to use their toolbox on or just save their box and help repair the the generator by hand

Currently in dbd it takes 80 seconds for 1 survivor to repair a generator, increasing the time or 'charges' required to fix a generator would not stop gen rushing, nerfing perk synergies and deterring survivors from working on generators together could make gen rushing less effective

Generators are getting done quick, but working together on Generators is actually a mistake and a handycap for the survivor team.

    Reasons:

    • Slower individual repair speed
    • Killer comes = more survs are not doing anything
    • Hex ruin / failing skillckecks slows down multible people at once

It is more effective if everyone works on his own gen. So your concern should be into that direction.

I do agree that individual repair speed does need to change. and yes technically working together is slightly worse compared to working solo, but if a group of survivors work on a generator, its still going to get done quickly
