Is Myers in a good state?
I don’t play killer much but I’ve recently started to play my main again: Myers. I keep getting either 1ks or 0ks. I don’t know if this is because Myers is weak or if I’ve just been having some bad games. I’m a rank 8 killer btw.

Myers is only good against people who let him stalk him. He fine where he at

I main him and consistently do well with him in red ranks. Except on Coldwind. Corn blindness is very much an issue for me.

He is still quite good, but I feel that he is overrated these days. Freddy became stronger than him and I also think that Plague is stronger than Myers, she is basically unlimited EW3 and does not have an abysmal time at the start of the Match where she needs to creep around with really low Movement Speed.
I think he is in a good spot, a little buff would not hurt him tho.

He is overrated, but you can still do fine with him. Probably you had some matches or you met some good teams.

Myers is my main killer and I've gotten to red ranks numerous times on pc and ps4. He is strong enough to do well with. He isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. Majority of games end in a 3K for me, but of course there is the occasional bad game where you get gen rushed, or are struggling at the beginning to get to tier 2. But most of the time it's fine if you are playing efficiently.

I think every killer isn’t far from fine, legion and clown could be tweaked a bit though.

Hes very overrated because of the horror icon he is.... his addons are badarse but that's about it..... T1 hes arguably the worst killer in the game , T2 again samething, alls it takes is looking around and you have a trapless trapper after you, its not hard to avoid getting stalked,making it longer for Myers to tier up... T3 is the only time hes relatively threatening, with a 1 shot and faster vaulting/breaking speed... but he can still be looped till the end of T3.....

Em, i think he's weak, but giving him mobility would be weird. Maybe he could have the ability to port to lockers to scare survivors. Would be iconic.

You're just having bad games, bud, or ya might just be out of practice. The Bogeyman Myers is one of the best killers in the game.

Apart from Ultra rare addon rework, he is fine. Oh and please fix the emblem system, extremely hard to Pip on high ranks with Daddy Myers because chase category is almost empty when you end chases very quickly (which should be a good thing)

The bushes and cornfields are just to overpowered against myers. You literally can't stalk someone running very close to you. This needs to be fixed. Also, I feel like both of his stalking speed addons should be basekit. It just takes to long without them.

He's in a good spot but he isnt billy, nurse, or spirit. I'd say hes around huntress

I think his resource base of his power should be tweaked but when the stars align hes ok

This is only true of scrub players who are running Shape. Shape can be very good. It depends on the person running them, and the build. Keep at it, watch some streamers and the builds they use for Shape. Monto has some good ones, and I've seen Puppers run a few good builds as well (likely running Monto's builds).

Myers is only good average. That means you don't have a chance against good groups, sadly.

He's good. I'd say high B tier, just behind Ghostface due to him having a much faster stalk and better stealth (and more importantly both stealth and 1 shot downs simultaneously) and on par with the Plague (who has similar strengths but the details make them side grades)
I'd say Myers is the most basic Killer. His power doesn't give him some extra ability, but instead makes his baseline stats better.
Better (lower) terror radius, better vault speed and with tier 3 a better lunge, even better vaulting and double damage.
And of course Tier 1 can get Gen grabs sometimes with M&A's 0 meter terror radius.
It's nothing too fancy (unless you are using Addons of course) but it gives him an edge that many other Killers lack.
Tier 2 + M&A is only an 8 meter terror radius which means chases of under 15 seconds by default, which is MUCH faster than with most Killers (other top tiers being obvious exceptions). And things like vaults aren't quite as punishing for Myers so he can avoid long chases a bit better that way.
And then you have his Tier 3. Yeah it takes a bit to work up towards but is worth it for the instadown and extra lunge range.
Compare that to something like trapper who has:
- Long set up times like Myers
- No power before setup
- Easily disabled power after setup
- Payoff that may not even happen when setup is finished and uncountered.
The only thing he's missing is mobility, which pretty much everyone but Wraith and Legion outside of the top tiers are Missing

The problem with Myers' Chaser Emblem is not that chases end quickly. (You get more points for short chases than for long chases.) The problem is that you insta-down a lot instead of hitting the survivors twice. (One hit with the base attack grants 55 points.)
And yes, the Chaser Emblem is badly designed for a lot of killers.

How a lower terror radius grants you a 15 seconds chase ? That doesn't make any sense.

Myers is from Illinois and from a quick Google search Illinois is ranked the 35th best state to live in.
So he's in a decent state but he could do better.

The collision thing is there because otherwise he could trap you in a corner and get EW3 on you and there's nothing you can do.
And before you say it, no it's not the same as Billy. If Billy traps you in a corner and chainsaws you he doesn't get a free one shot on everyone else for a minute.

Maybe if talking about singular chases, rather than downs. If you adopt a hit and run tactic, you can use the small TR to get hits in, before moving on. Can also use the small TR of T2 to get in close before tapping for a T3 instadown.

Not really. He's the best stealth killer currently in the game, but that's about it.

Most wont agree but i want a Myers who never has a terror radius, basekit. Forget add-ons, I want Myers to be scary the whole game and not just the first few mins.
I want to be constantly on the edge of my seat wondering if hes standing behind me.

I started playing killer with Myers and he used to be my main, but as the time goes and the new killers being added, he becomes less and less fun and viable. He feels a bit outdated now. They need to give his power a little tweaking imo. Bring back multi-stalking, get rid of the stalk-cap, adjust the stalking distance and so on.

He might be addon dependant (mainly those increasing stalk speed) but imo he's ok.

Myers is eh. I actually mained him up until I got into red ranks, where he gets slapped. Overall he's mid-tier.

The Survivor has a shorter head start.

The survivor can still loop him for more than 15 seconds, especially on open maps where you see white face coming from miles away.

It's the minimum time, not the average time. Hence why I went on to say that in addition to that he has stuff against windows.
Like the initial distance is about 15 seconds worth compared to most Killers who they would have much more than that (up to 60 but usually a bit less).
This can and will be greatly increased be Pallets and Windows or decreased if he can cut the Survivor off. But it's still a significant advantage over most Killers.
For reference Legion after his stun gives a head start of double that.
