stranger things and auric cells
ok, im assuming the answer is yes because it has been the case with every other DLC... but i need to know, can the new killer and survivors be bought with just the auric cells? i have enough right now and i plan on saving them for the DLC, but i also wouldnt be surprised if they had people buy the full thing in order to please Netflix. so i just gotta know, will they be purchasable with cells?

Yes, all DLC and licensed products can be bought with Auric. However, I highly suggest NOT doing this if you’re getting the full chapter, as if you were going to pay with auric cells, you’d be paying 500 for each character, 1500 being the total, which would cost you the equivalent of 15$ for a full chapter without buying the DLC.
(This makes me think that the chapter won’t be 7$ either, but who knows...)

oh i know how the math works out. im most likely only getting the demogorgon so i just wanna be sure. also i dont have the source but i saw somewhere else on the forums someone linked an article that said the DLC will be 11.99

Im new with the whole cells thing...but do they really want us to pay $10.00 for 1 full cosmetic piece?

sadly yes... i get they gotta make money but i feel thats a bit much for a cosmetic. i mean getting two characters doesnt even cost as much as some skins

thats very very messed up, Mortal Kombat 11 sells a pack of 3 character skins for less lol

NEVER buy characters/chapters in-game with cells: I brought Ghost Face with cells as he hadn't been released on the PS Store, and I didn't get extra colour attire you get with the PS Store purchase.
Only use cells to buy custom attire parts.

im pretty sure thats the only case where buying the DLC also came with a skin, cause it made up for the lack of a survivor. also its usually worth getting killers or survivors with cells if you dont care about the other part of the DLC, since its only 5 bucks instead of 7.

Nope, every DLC has some sort of unique cosmetic (for survivors most of the time) for buying the full version

really? oh... my bad then, i usually only get the killer so i dont buy the full DLC. only time i did was the SAW one, and i thought Tapp's alt appearance was just free.

Althought they got weaker over the years (like Jeff's and Jane's silght recolors) they do exist only if you buy it through steam
