How would you balance the ebony mori?

I think the Ebony is fine. It rewards killers for doing their job correctly, rather like gen rushing for survivors. Ebony's only frustrating if the killer moris all survivors on 1st hook. Nothing you can do against that kind of person. Just get it over with and get to the next game. Ultimately, moris don't effect anything but the amount of time in a game, depending on how they're used.
It's more of a "let the killer have their fun round" then a "serious round".
It's also the only counter to toxic high level SWF teams.

Yes they are. Especially Dead Hard and D Strike.

I wouldn't. I have no problem with ebonies.

Ebony moris only work when somebody has been hooked twice, or everyone has been hooked once.
Also, maybe give a 100% BP boost to everyone in the match when using the Ebony mori so survivors feel encouraged to finish the match.

That would make moris worthless. You would not even save the 8 seconds of carrying somebody to the hook since you would have to go through the mori animation.
That would make tunneling more powerful than the mori. Also it would make moris worthless if there is one Claudette who hides the entire time.
My suggestion:
Except for the Cypress mori, a survivor should only be mori-able after being hooked once. Additionally, the green mori should only work when the killer has had 2 hooks in total (not relevant who has been hooked how many times). Additionally, the pink mori should only work when the killer has had 4 hooks in total (again, not relevant who has been hooked how many times).

I say revert the nerf so that you don't need to hook people to mori them.

Ebony mori is so powerful that needs the same love devs gave to MoM: After a survivor gain 3 protection hits you can kill him :D

Not gonna lie, that would actually be a really good counter to SWF and a buff to solo survivor at the same time lmao

I'd say good idea except it means if DS would have gone off then it would be usable which i think an issue personally.
That is, I mean it would promote tunneling.

What about tying the ebony to totems? Unlit totems. Loses a charge for each totem broke, not counting lit. It would encourage totem breaking, and maybe slow gen rush?

Cypress should be base kit. New Cypress works like Ivory does now but only on the Obsession (and it would spawn an obsession if necessary). It should also make the Obsession spawn closest to the killer.
Ivory should require 1 hook on 2 different survivors before you can use it on a survivor that has already been hooked once.
Ebony should require the survivor to be on death hook (as in they are dead anyway).

Get rid of ebony Mori and get rid of Keys. balance

What pointless? It will be balanced like the other offerings. Perhaps mori's doesn't take any skill.

It would make DS useless. Besides it will promotes the tunneling.

Simple
When Ghostface moris a survivor have Connor emerge from a dimensional rift and arrest him

Currently, moris make the game balanced if you face a SWF with several insta-heals/full toolbox loadout.
Also, moris require the killer to down a survivor twice. I would not call that "no skill required". If you are looking for something that doesn't require skill, you should look at insta-heals, for example.

Give more points for both sides, Thats all you can do. Some offerings are meant to be unfair and powerful. Mist and farther hooks are the same. Gives an advantage over the killer, but only noticable if multiple people using them. Ebony is good to destroy any scumbag SWF party, but you need to 2 hook at least one person if you wnat to pip.

You can only instalheal 2 levels a survivor if the killer slug him

I wouldnt until I touch some survivors op items too then it would be a fair trade

And? An insta-heal removes a down. Without insta-heals, you usually down a survivor 3x to kill him. With an insta-heal and a mori, you still down the survivor 3x before you mori him. No difference.

the equivalent of a ebony mori is: you do a gen and you escape and exit the game

That doesn't make sense.

Tbh if i had any say in the balance of Moris i would suggest removing the Ebony entirely, dropping the Ivory mori from Green rarity to Yellow rarity and then integrate the Cypress Mori as a basekit feature.

Balancing would mean changing the mechanic, not changing the rarity.

People make it seem like there is a mori every game which at least in my experience it's rare unless someone is using dying light which is very rare
All the mori's are fine nerf keys tho
