Cause atleast 2 times I got reported by what they think was lag switching:( And yes some games I lag horrible but it's from time to time. So should I be worried at all? I don't lag switch at all:( I lag from time to time and that's only if my connection is slow.

A slow connection gives you very unfair advantages as a killer and makes the game unplayable as survivor. You will get a taste of your own medicine when dedicated servers arrive and care about your connection. :)

What does that even mean? A slow connection does not mean lag switching buddy:) I lag from time to time there's a difference and no normal lag you won't get banned if that's the case with the devs then that will show a poor judgment on there part.

Oh don't worry. While it's not convenient for the other side for the host to have poor internet, so be it. If it's lag switching, then yes, but the system and development team determine that before taking any action against your account. I wouldn't worry if it's because of your internet.

I only said a slow killer connection is annoying for survivors. Imagine you drop a pallet on the killer and you're getting injured five seconds after that.

Most survivors don't even know what lag switching is or what it looks like. Some just like to cry lag or hacks as soon as they come across something that feels unfair to them. I have a friend like that, and I couldn't tell you the amount of times we've had this conversation: "omg this killer is lag switching 100%" "nah mate my game is fine, your internet is just crap". In other words, some survivors are just way too quick to accuse the killer of cheating when something goes wrong. And, like HeyItsNick said above, the devs review accusations like that very carefully before picking up the ban hammer, so if you're not lag switching you've got nothing to worry about.

    TL;DR ignore them.

When a killer's internet suddenly starts playing up in the middle of a game, that can be frustrating, but if a killer just has consistently bad net I think that's fine, they just might have trouble getting games. Speaking as a 98% survivor main, whenever I do play killer, if my internet is playing up going in I don't worry about it because the survivors can see the ping in the lobby. They knew what they were getting into.

Lag switching usually looks a certain way. In DBD everyone else appears to start running into walls or standing still, while on each player's end they themselves can move around. Then the game re-syncs, usually including a survivor instantly "teleporting" to the dying state and halfway through the pickup animation. I'm sure there's people that use them in more "subtle" manners, but the blatant and often "rage-fueled" lag switching is very distinct and exclusively happens when it's beneficial to the killer, consistently.

So unless your connection problems consistently make something looking exactly like that, in ways that are beneficial to you in particular, I'd say you've got nothing to worry about. I don't know if devs can conclusively identify a lag switch on their end, but it's not really something you can punish unless someone's a repeat offender as in theory it could happen without being on purpose.

It's a subject most people (understandably!) aren't very informed about, which explains why people accuse things of lagswitching when they really aren't. The most hilarious one is when people claim survivors can lagswitch, when that's just... not how it works when the killer is the host in a P2P setup like what DBD uses. Survivors can mess their connection up and be laggy, and at some points in the history of the game straight up speedhack, but not lag switch.

As far as I know dedicated servers will roundhouse kick lag switching into the shadow realm anyway, so yay. Looking forward to the next dumb excuse when lag happens to be "omg this guy was losing and ddosed the server!!!" 😄

Actually it can give survivors an unfair advantage, as lag can give survivors a great speed boost

Being accused of cheating is the greatest compliment you can receive in a game. It means you did so well that he straight up doesn't believe that a Human player could preform such a feet.
