Ok,so....there is a new add-on for the key, an ultra add-on. It gives you the power to see the obsession permanently. Cool, but apart from that, what's the purpose? What advatange gives you decreasing the chance to become the obsession?

There's only 1 purpose for it: avoiding giving killer remember me stacks. But even that doesn't matter since Pig's endgame got gutted and Freddy got reworked into being more chaotic. AND remember me got nerfed.

Anyway going still with the argument, still doesn't make sense. Ok avoiding remember me stacks, but there will be always an obsession. If it's not you then someone else, SO what's the meaning of decresing the chance???

I guess it just gives u eyes on another survivor during the trial so like permanent bond. can help if obsession is in a chase so you know killer isnt near you, and like mentioned above can help if the killer has an obsession based perk like remember me etc. also i guess killers are more likely to pick u up if your not the obsession and you have D-strike.
Honestly its not overly useful and its uses are quite niche.

I mean it gives me a good reason to get rid of all my broken keys so I like it.

I used this add-on all day yesterday and it's actually pretty nice. You can:
- Find someone to heal you
- Know what the obsession is doing (healing or being healed, cleansing a totem, etc.)
- Help the obsession work on a gen
- Keep track of the killer if the obsession is being chased
- Counter knock-out if the obsession is slugged
- Lead the obsession to the hatch so you can use your key

Keys...so overpowered but so useful...perfectly screwed up like all things should be.

Honestly keys are one of the worst balanced things in DBD.
I'm playing in red ranks. Playing Trapper. Killed two people while three gens popped. Pretty good game so far from my side. Two people hatch escape. Key found in a chest. Entity displeased.

Yes they're broken but you even spare and didn't lose. The match with 2 people escaping with a key it's even so rare that you don't need to worry about that and as i said, there are much more broken thing than keys at the moment.

Which ones if i may ask sir?
I'm playing killer in red ranks and getting key escapes quite often that's why im noticing it.
Don't mention maps or Omega Nurse, devs are fixing both atm.
