Changing the Generators

I don't play much survivor, but from what I have played and what I read on here, generators suck. It's more fun to be chased than hold down a button for over a minute per gen. So what I'm going to suggest may upset you, but I believe creating a new "minigame" could help, at least a little bit.

Doing generators would progress as normal, but the normal skill checks won't be the only thing to come up. Occasionally there will be something like a wire panel pop up and to succeed this "skill check," you must enter buttons (WASD/D-Pad) in the order they show. 4 buttons will appear and you have 3 seconds to complete it or you fail. Completing this in half the time will result in a great skill check. These skill checks only appear on generators and would be affected by Madness (Only the next two buttons appear while the others are obscure. Entering a correct button will reveal the next), Unnerving Presence (Decreasing the time given to do the skill check) and Huntress Lullaby (The same way it gives less of an indication you will receive a skill check). Anything that increases or decreases success zones will increase or decrease the time given to complete these skill checks instead.

I'm gonna be honest. I thought this up on the spot. I don't know if it will help with "Hold the Button Simulator," but I just wanted to give an idea to make the game more engaging for both sides. Let me know what you think about it.

I mean, I'm not sure if that would change too much. But honestly it's a nice idea, any other minigame besides skill checks would probably be welcome.

i feel like you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who makes it a point to interact with the killer every game that would complain about how "boring" doing generators is.

while objective points may be the least "fun" of the other 2 scoring categories, it is also calming and allows you to regroup from the fun you were just having. with any luck, it's still pretty intense because the killer is nearby, very probably even looking for you, and you need to make sure you see the killer before the killer sees you.

think of the generator as a reason you have to be stuck in a place where you can't really tell if the killer is coming directly for you or not. i spend more time looking around at all the approaches the killer can be coming from than being "bored". when i hear the skill check notification, that's my signal to stop moving the camera, focus the skill check, and then i'm back to looking around. i get bonus points and emblem points for doing this in the terror radius.. the closer the killer is, the more i get..

i feel like in a way, this is the best mini game anyone could ever hope for while just holding the m1 button..

if you're doing objective first before being found by the killer, you're really just trying to get your objective points right quick before you go have fun..

take that statement for what you will.

Lol when healing you have to draw the the lines and that’s would be a skill check and Unnerving makes the space in between smaller. Huntress Lullaby doesn’t give you a warning (Because it would still give you warning) madness will make the thing stutter. Yeah
