Why is playing Killer so Frustrating?
I mean really?
The frustration of seeing so many safe pallets and none mindgameable loops.
The survivors that think they're good but it's really just as killer you can't do much about the safe pallets and you just have to break them all.
Then there's the gen speed issue. I personally do not care about what perks survivors are using or items (as long as I don't see keys or toolboxes) but for crying out loud please do something about gen rushing. Killer is put on a timer and pallets/loops are such a time waster when there's a boat load of mindless loops and tryhard swf.
Sure there are perks but last time I checked isn't killer supposed to be the power role, because it sure as hell doesn't feel like it.
I don't know anymore... I guess I'll just play survivor more often since that role doesn't stress me out. Playing survivor is light weight and pretty much nothing to worry about.
(Currently Rank 4 Killer & Survivor)

Because the time crunch is controlled by the survivors. The majority of pressure is placed on killers to perform rather than it actually being balanced between both roles effectively.
In the end, it's just short sighted design and misplaced emphasis on less important aspects of the game.

The main problem is how much of the match is dictated by Survivors. What perks do they have? Are they really good at looping? Can they be easily mindgamed? Do they have any items like flashlights or insta heals? Then there's the stuff that's just completely random. What map are you on? Is it good for the killer you're playing? How many pallets are there? DId you get a good totem spawn? There is just so much that can go in the survivors favor, or alternatively in the killers favor. But there are so many more things that can go right for survivors compared to killers.

It isn’t stressful

Maybe you’re really burnt out? I usually start to get annoyed at everything in game if im feeling burnt out, so it could be that.

Just learn nurse. I play ps4 and got bored of all killers so I decided to do the unthinkable. Play nurse on PS4 and I did and man did the frustration get even worse. All the inaccurate blinks. All the swing and misses, all that time staring down in fatigue. All the 0Ks.... until I started getting better and better and now I’m on a 28 game 4k streak with nurse. No looping necessary.

Killers have way more going on than survivors, survivors can chill on gens, killers need to be always 100%. It can be too much sometimes.
Whenever playing killer starts getting to me, I just play trapper. I'm way too chill whenever I play him, don't even know why.

I think it has to do with your neurobiology and how you handle stress in total, not simply in a video game. So for example ask yourself, "What happens if I do terrible? What are the consequences?" It's a pretty clear answer. We all want to do well, but maintaining mood regulation through cognitive-behavioral thought processes is more important than doing well in a video game.

It really isn't.
I play Killer to relax from my survivor games. At the end of the game, I know whatever I didn't get done was because I wasn't good enough, and not because someone decided to stand in front of me and keep me from having fun and participating in the match.
Also, where are these plethora of safe pallets you speak of? Most of the safe ones have been removed for useless pallets that you have to mindgame perfectly, or die.

Agreed, also mistakes you make as the killer can be very punishing to the point that they lose you the game. Where as Survivor mistakes either aren't as punishing or have lots of perks in place to mitigate the punishment.
Even something as simple as forgetting a Survivor had Dead Hard can lose you the match, where as getting downed as a Survivor can often mean very little.

Playing killer is frustrating sometimes. Learn nurse so you can chill your killer games too. You get rewarded for skill.

I use to get super frustrated too, but eventually just ended up getting use to how to use the handful of killers I like using. Treating every killer the same is often ppls problems, even if they APPEAR very similar. First killer I hit rank 1 with was OG Freddy, and I was sweaty AF at the time, lol. Now though, after getting better... Im able to be quite chill with Freddy (loving the rework), but can also play Shape and Pig at a decently high rank. I don't play any of the highest tier killers.

Different experiences for different people. There are some games where I legitimately wanna cry from how frustrating playing killer can get, and then sometimes it's as easy as breathing and I can relax.
Sometimes I breeze through solo as survivor, sometimes I'm face camped or tunneled by the killer. Though I am not nearly as frustrated when that happens for some reason.
What I just said was objective, you both and the op are being subjective. And while I certainly am not at all special, it would be nicer if people understood that sometimes other people have it harder to play due to circumstances.
I'm sorry for the mini rant, but for both sides I'm getting tired when someone comes over and basically tells the op: "No, you're wrong because of this or because I experience this."
As for you @OGlilSPOOK20, gen rushing is a dumb term but I understand what you mean, without Ruin (and in some cases, with Ruin) the experienced survivors can and will breeze through the gens. Touching gen speed is not a option, but a different way of doing objectives could be nice.

They are working on map reworks so that safe pallets become less frequently and so that maps get more mindgameablw ones. That should make things a lot better for weaker killers. I just hope they come soon, seeing no changes to any map in this patch was a bit disappointing.
Gen times I believe aren't a balancing problem though, so they can't really be changed. It would screw over a lot in this game, especially for low ranks, which seem to have a harder time surviving already.

If it wasn't balanced like this, with killer being under time restraints, good Killers would 4k every game. Good players will always find the most optimal way to play. For survivors it is rushing gens and escaping as fast as possible. For killers, if they don't feel rushed by the knowledge that every second wasted means less chance at a 4k, the optimal killers will take advantage and win every game.

Because map design is horrid. The devs refuse to take the initiative and rework the broken aspects on a lot of maps.

You mentioned being rank 4. You're at the point where player skill throws the game balance way out of whack. The stupid amount of safe pallets, game speed, etc, are all symptoms of trying to balance the game around the lowest common denominator. Survivors have an insane amount of resources because new or low level survivors won't know where they are or how best to use them.
Why can it be stressful? Because you have to essentially play mistake free to stand a chance against red rank survivors. The tiniest mistake at any point can throw a game. It's ridiculously punishing, and there's no real mechanism to "come back" if you're essentially down on the scorecards. Gens typically only go faster if you get off to a bad start.
