I tried out DbD on PS4....
I can't even say it in words how horrible the experience on PS4 is.. Playing on Controller is absolutly disgusting. And the FOV on survivor and killer feels so tight and reduced.
The fps is... Alright I guess. Manageable, but far away from good. Graphics is horrible, at first I thought I'm playing DbD mobile.
I think the worst thing is the controller. Absolutly wobbly and extremely restricting.
With all the respect.. But how are you ps4 mains playing this game?? It's not bareable for me.
BHVR, you need to work on keyboard and mouse support. This game is not playable with a controller... Or lets better say: not enjoyable like on pc.

I played ps1-ps3 games aswell. A lot of fps games like cod. In all games it was feeling quite natural with the controller. But dbd... Na man, disgusting experience

Well personally I am using my PS4 sat in my reclining sofa playing on a 55" TV with my family.
Enjoy sitting in your office chair alone in the dark, dingy corner of your bedroom in front of your desk and tiny screen.

I like playing in my comfortable recliner, and I see very little difference graphics wise. Other than nurse I see no difference.

For killer not, but controller is fine for survivor. Albeit a bit awkward, Speaking as a PC player that owns a 360 controller.

I also Play dbd with controller on PC. Only survivor though. So there was not much of a difference. It is less stressful on PS4 imo

Wait what ? In a first person shooter I could understand bc of the mouse...but you prefer breaking your fingers trying to reach awsd and the space barre just to vault ? You prefer furiously smashing your mouse in circles just to 360 ?
That's a first...
Lbh you can say graphics are better on pc, aiming is better with a mouse or that fps is much smoother...but to say kb has a better directional control ? It doesn't even make sense.

Idk if you're answering me but I have and that's why I know it isn't ergonomic at all. Buttons or rather action keys are always much better on a controller.
The only thing better with a pc is the mouse (not kb) bc it can aim Much quicker and easier.
So I'm guessing you used flashlights a lot ?

I feel like the best way to game is with a controller, using a mouse to aim is cheating and really requires zero skill. The only games i prefer on pc are the simulators or strategy games. Also, key boards dont vibrate.....right?

You get used to the ######### frame rate. I believe our last optimization patch was back in the end game collapse, I could be wrong. The game is so poorly optimized that my frames use to drop to 5 every time I reached bloodlust 1.

Never played PC DBD so I never had a too bad of a problem, I don't notice it TOO hard, controller seems very underhand.

This might be the reason why many don't see the problems. Most ps4 players are just used to that "bad" experience. But once you had the better experience you will notice what is wrong on console.
I personally already made the decision not to buy and invest time on console dbd version till its better. Pc is just better.. For me at least.

And I got used to playing with controller, I'm even able to play some Nurse with slight efficiency.

I enjoy my pc on my sofa with the same TV at more than 60fps, I'm glad you can enjoy your sad 20 fps in the toaster. 😂

You get used to playing dbd with a controller. Being a Bubba main I had to learn to cut corners with absolute precision in order to be able to even have a chance to chainsaw people running around loops and other objects. At this point it feels so natural to me I can't even imagine playing dbd without a controller.
Pretty sure PC players couldn't have played this one any better than me:

I’ve never had any trouble with a PS4 controller. You can say it’s more precise or whatever and it might be but it’s not like you’re sniping across the map. I also play overwatch on PS4 and snipe. It’s all about what you’re used to it’s all muscle memory.

Except for maybe Left 4 Dead. The only game I want.

I will say that Spider-Man and God of War looks good, check out Quantum Break, it’s not that famous but it’s a top tier game

Eumm pc can go higher than 60fps that's console that goes up to 60. If your pc don't go higher dude you are playing on an expensive console.

Also, I laugh when PC players complain of only Nurses, Billies and Spirits in high ranks. That's so far removed from my PS4 experience. I see every killer. Except Clown and Doctor very rarely.

I would love to play against you with Nurse. I tried here a little bit out on console and I think my experience is balancing out the horrible controls and framerate. Wanna do a little kyf match just to see? I'm versing only rank 20s (cuz I'm rank 20) so it's difficult to tell how the performance is gonna be against high experienced players

I have no other choice! I'm so glad someone tried console from PC and knows our suffering. And I'm on an original Slim model, none of that Pro nonsense. It can be bad. It's not the roughest game, but it's certainly not the smoothest. Anytime something significant happens (a hit, Exposed, etc) the game seizes and can interrupt what you were doing, causing you to run into a wall instead of a window, or miss a pallet throw...
Lately, it seems like the survivor is huge, like the camera has been pulled closer. It's hard to see where I'm going. I used David for a daily and I couldn't see around his body. I also just bought Adam and his coat blocks sight too. Was it always this bad? I've been playing off and on since console release, and I don't remember it being this restrictive.

Same...I am a long time console player as well. I’ve been playing console since the original Xbox.
I play perfectly fine with my controller. I can’t deny that Nurse and Huntress are MUCH more viable on PC but every other killer works just as well.
