Healing off the ground

The killer should be able to interrupt a survivor being healed on the ground, by picking up the downed survivor, instead of being forced to hit the healer.

I had killed 2 survivors and had the 3rd one on a hook, the 4th survivor managed to rescue them while I was looking for him. Chasing the injured survivor so I could get a 3rd kill, the 4th survivor started body blocking, fine that's normal. I managed to down the previously hooked survivor in front of the exit, like really close to it.

I went to pick him up, but low and behold, the 4th had started healing him while I was in the weapon animation, which forced me into having to hit him, which resulted in both of them escaping.

Why can't we just pick up the downed one?

This is one of the main reasons Freddy is garbage. He can do nothing to stop someone he downed being healed and woken up if the other survivor is also awake.

Yeah, it especially sucks with Freddy, have to wait for the dream transition. Rough time

Wait why didn’t you chainsaw him? Or is that the weapon animation you were referring to?

The weapon hit animation, the hook was unfortunately quite close to the gate. And silly me, I wanted to use the always fun, super fast sanic Hill Billy, which has a long chainsaw wind up.

The fact that I did manage to hit the injured guy was either a miracle or slip up from the blocker, but I digress, still didn't get him.

It takes time to charge up the chainsaw, it doesn't matter who you're playing, you shouldn't have to even attempt to hit a survivor before picking up the one who lost the chase and got knocked down. You won the chase, so why should you have to take on another survivor just to get the "reward" for winning the chase.

Why are you trying to argue that with me? Argue it with someone who thinks otherwise I was just curious as to why he didn’t try to chainsaw them instead and I got my answer.
