OMG gen speed
Just wanted to post this before anyone else does. Since this seems to be a trend now.
But no, I don't think gen speed is in anyway a problem. Once again, you can't increase objective time without just breaking half your game balance wise. It just wouldn't work. Just imagine Nurse, Spirit or Hillbilly with increased objective time.
This right here, if anything, is a Clown problem. And maybe a map problem.

It's a problem with any killer except those at the top including Freddy and maybe Ghostface (I do pretty well with Ghostface though it takes a ton of effort to pull off).
This is why there a people vying for solo survivor to be buffed so that other killers can be buffed. Spirit and Nurse need balance tweaks regardless to what happens

in a 4v1 there will never be true gameplay balance just like there will never be true balance in any unique class/character with their own niche toolset.
look at FF14, they are tryharding their best to balance out all the jobs but still remain left behind, instead they just made the fights redundant and cookie cutter with healer OOM checks and dps checks and tank buster checks which is boring especially healing.
and if you look at WoW when they took away talent tree uniqueness for the sake of balance and blandness

Yes this is true. And that's my point. Weaker killers need to be buffed, but increasing objective time just mindlessly buffs every killer in the game.

- This map is awful for killer :(
- Don’t pick clown and complain about “genrushing” when you are playing one of the weaker killers (C tier) with low mobility.
- Posting clips of only 1 game is just useless.. Sometimes you have bad games/sometimes good games. You can’t win every single game..
Did Tru3 evn used pop once in that clip? Anyways, ggs only friends :) <3

I'm a little confused. If 1 and 2 are true (this map sucks for killers and Clown is fundamentally incapable of putting out map pressure), then shouldn't 3 = this is a serious balance issue?

Clown is nowhere near the worst killer. Leatherface then Wraith, then Legion THEN maybe Clown.

One starting point would be to, when bringing in an addon that lets you instantly down people, not hook someone in the basement and then abandon that side of the map completely. Patrol around it try to get both the hooked and the unhooker in the basement at once and then camp a little harder. Low mobiltiy killers need to be played defensively but Tru3 thinks he can play every killer like they are Nurse.
Edit: He could also bring NOED on slower killers if he finds that he gets genrushed on them. It will surely do more for his Clown than Pop Goes the Weasel ever could.

I main Nurse on console, and she can barely go without Ruin again a de-pip squad SWF.
We're not complaining about survivors doing their objective — we are just upset because the majority of the killer roster doesn't even have a fair amount of time to do anything (assuming they played perfectly). Also, killers need a 4K at red ranks because of course, the rank system demands it instead of a 2K. :)
It would also help survivors if the objective got reworked because they won't have to do M1 adventure anymore.

Pretty hard to apply any map pressure with a killer like Clown. But that's the point, this isn't a gen problem, it's a Clown problem. In my opinion at least. He has no way to apply any proper map pressure.

This is the problem tho.. there post after post from survivors complaining about diversity, and then you basically say its his fault for not playing one of the big 3.
We need to make all killers viable, while nerfing the strong ones once that is done.
Then we get the cry posts that the game is not fun because they can't "play with the killer" any more.

Thats what happen when survivors don't screw around on a very unbalanced map against a weak killer. The generators speed by itself is not the real issue, just the symptom.

Yet we see not a single video about a killer who kill all 4 survivors with no gens done ... and trust me that happens a lot too. there are always 2 extremes to his game.

It's true. He wins almost every match he plays, just imagine if survivors had more objective time. Sure he could go for longer chases which can be fun for both sides, but that means he'd probably never lose. Survivors need some kind of hope to win as well.

Him played very bad, long chases= 3 guys doing gens. The problem is definitely not the clown in this game

Fun fact: at least 3 of 4 survs in that match did only blackpip at best and had maybe about 10K points. So was really worth the "fun" i guess.

His longest chase was a minute, so they weren't that long. Even if his chases would have been quicker, Clown just doesn't have the ability to defend gens in any way. He would have lost this game anyways, pretty sure. Clown is definitely lacking.

People saying it a lot? Couldn't tell ya. Clown is the worst killer in the game. My worst Leatherface games are my average Clown games, and I used to main Clown.

Shes close but not quite there..I cant agree because I see her on both ends quite commonly..the biggest thing you learn is that survivors whom are worthy of note can counter her and then it becomes the ultimate game of reads just like nurse , besides..we need killers like them or this game will 100 percent perish

no he takes his Vod from streaming and turns every game, no matter how it goes into individual videos for his youtube channel and he actually puts effort into titling them instead of 9/9/19 game 1 then game 2 etc etc, he actually makes a thumbnail and title name for the game. and he complains about the errors in the game and the faults of balance, like how some people do just want this to be a bully the killer simulator and that gen rushing is a bit of a problem, in this game it is very obvious that he is the superior player to these survivors but he cant get much done due to gen speed, and the killer he was playing. and before you say "just don't play clown" he had to due to his way of streaming where you give him 10$ and you can give him any build on any killer and he shows it off in red ranks

I may say that Wraith is actually worse, I'm not sure. But Leatherface is just... bad. He feels like Legion where you're punished for trying to use your power unless the survivors are actual potatoes.

Even experienced players make mistakes every games allowing good Bubbas to chainsaw them. The reason Bubba struggles (sometimes) is his "average mobility" causing him to get gen rushed easily and the fact he's got no stall potential when played the wrong way.
However his ability is actually great in terms of lethality. It's (imo) the best instadown in the game as it can be used to zone and mindgame survivors while providing 100% movement control allowing me to end chases or even the whole game pretty much immediately if people screw up like these guys:
