Demigorgon nerfed? Devs?
I heard worrying rumors about upcoming launch and nerf of demigorgon.
Are they true?
Supposedly his lunge will get nerfed and speed of traversing will also see some nerfs.

They're increasing recovery time on missed shred attacks due to the fact that constantly shredding is quicker than walking. That seems to be the only one that they're adding though.

Hes lunge attack recovery is changing from 2 seconds to 2.25 seconds. He could travel faster on map just doing the attack. So for balance they have made a small adjustment.

From what I've seen they are only nerfing the time it takes to recover from using the Shred ability, by .25 seconds. That's almost literally nothing.
But still, it shouldn't have been touched at all.

Chill out guys. It's so minor you won't even be able to notice it. It literally adds .25 seconds to the lunge power cool down.

The fact of the matter is he was being broken out of shroud on ptb from behind walls without the adjustment, he's just trying to make the changes seem worse so he can be a victim.
They should fix Ghostface being pulled out from behind walls, yes, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the "hotfix" that "broke" him, he's always been broken, and I bet he still bought him.

Oh, I don't know. What I do know is that a few patches ago they made a change to how grass patches near the basement move, and somehow Wake up! started increasing the action speed for everything.

Implying this is the cause and effect, you're just grabbing two parts of patch notes and putting them together, bugs happen, admittedly there should be a lot less but you implying that changing grass made wake up bugged is hyperbole and ridiculous.

Looking at history of dbd ptb killer testing they usually get nerfed right before release. I guess they didn't do it with ghostface because he would be even more laughable then he is now.
I don't get their reasoning. They claim that they want to balance the game but they care about stats from ptb with much much smaller sample with rank splits removed.

Judging by the reactions here, people would still riot over a quarter of an entire second nerf. Anything to justify us killers being booty I suppose. It's on PTB for a reason. People seem to still not understand what PTB stands for and takes it as the perfect version.

Actually you can't.
It went from a 4.63 M/S average to a 4.39 M/S average. Actually using it to get a hit is identical math to live so the standard use case is unchanged.

Sadly yes due to apparently faster map traversing..now I dont like the devs fiddling with these things because they tend to go overboard even if some people would rather just assume itll be ok..especially when the change doesnt affect them , now this change will likely do more than stop an exploit , itll possibly affect hos chasing bit that remains to be seen..after all we were told they were changing plague before release..and then they did more than they said..so I think it silly not to make your stance clear

If you want to know the nerf here it is.
his lunge delay is increased from 2 seconds to 2.25 seconds because you could get around the map faster with his lunge than just regular walking. That’s all and it’s not that’s big really

Can we stop the nerf panic over just a quarter of 1 second.
If it was 1-2 seconds extra sure...
But it's a quarter of 1...
No one will even notice a difference unless you're just spamming it to traverse the map quickly.

We are talking about a mid tier killer who could traverse the map at 4,63 m/s
There's no reason to nerf him, these nerfs to killer so they become irrelevant must stop.
Plague and Gf are already irrelevant, legion is trash.
This nerf/counterplay philosophy must go
