When will cross-progression be introduced?

With the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions coming out soon, that makes 5 platforms the game is on. I would think cross-progression would be already in the game or at least be introduced soon.

  I think the devs said, that we should not consider it being a thing in the (near) future. I guess they have other priorities (fixing Dedicated Servers, Archives, etc.) currently.
