The meta needs to be changed
This game is starting to feel the same every match, the killers are starting to feel the same, the perks feel the same, items feel the same, etc
The meta needs to be changed so that the game actually feels like I am not just repeating what I just did last match

The meta haven't changed (permanently) in a looooong time, last killer meta change was spirit fury, but still its usually hex ruin and bbq each game and adrenaline, borrowoed time exhaustion perk and decisive strike on survivor since forever...

Find a better strategy, and the meta will change.
That's how it goes.
You also don't have to play meta if you don't want to

maybe branch out and not use the same perks every game believe it's a breath of fresh air

I remember mettle of men changing the survivor meta.
Also a lot of the meta perks are meta for a reason. For example I think the game is nearly unplayable without DS.

Well, adding new game styles or another objetives would help as well. As an example The Chinese New Year events (the last one), where the survivors needed to grab lanterns and the killer, destroy them. Like this.
After repairing all generators you need to find a fuse and put it in a fuse box in order to power the exit gates. Being creative will help the game to improve, and not actually being the same. It's not an easy work but it will be good for the game.

@SaltyFries I wish the people I went into matches did gens as you say.
I was in red ranks before the rank reset and I could still see people not touching a gen and all 3 looking for ruin. Not every match is the same tbh.

Then especially when playing killer, you can try to come up with alternatives for the meta. You say that you are tired of the meta, so I assume that you use Ruin, for example. Try to find alternatives.

I am tired of the current meta as it makes the game extremely boring, survivor and killers
Like how Hillbilly is seen really often in high ranks, I feel like we should have more killers seen in the high ranks than the current ones

Okay. If we don't want to see Billy & Spirit all the time at high ranks, the other killers have to get buffed obviously. (And I agree, I'd like to see a bigger variety of killers.)

Recommendation for survivors. Just run pebble and shadow the killer and distract them with pebbles every now and then and keep the killer off gens. 60% of the time it works 100% guaranteed
Just pebble btw. No other perks
