Infectious fright and monitor abuse radius

So for a normal 32m terror radius, when you chase someone it increases to 40m with monitor abuse. Does it mean infectious fright has 40m radius detection the moment they get down or just 32m?

  When you down some when using M&A, infectious fright has 40 meter range.
