Matchmaking is just getting worse and worse

I was really hoping matchmaking would improve with the new patch but appears to have gotten even worse (i can only speak for ps4). I tried to queue as a survivor only to get after a few minutes an error saying I can't connect to the host. I keeps me in the queue, but I don't mind because I just want to find a game. Again after a few minutes I get the same error. I can't get out of the queue for some mysterious reason (the triangle button is disabled for some reason). The only way to leave the queue is to fully shut down the game and restart. Dbd is the only game on my ps4 where I suddenly have network issues. All my other online games (bf5, overwatch, gwent, ...) all have zero problems on my network. I just don't get how matchmaking can be such a low priority for the developers.

I really like this game, I just wish it would let me play it.

    This happens every time a new killer is released. Everyone is playing the new killer so lobbies are slow..

    I've been getting good ranked games lately as killer. Not sure if its just me but good challenging matchs so far

    For me (on pc) it now takes a minute to find a game as survivor. It was almost instant before

    I didn't bother trying to get a killer game because many people want to try out the new killer.

    I'm not complaining about long queue times. I don't mind having to wait. It is when I do finally get a game, half of the time something goes wrong during joining the game which throws me back in the queue and if I finally manage to join a game it's with people who are all much higher rank then me (which also isn't fun or fair).

    Dont want to jinx it but my matchmaking has gotten better since new patch, im now playing with players my own rank instead of 16-20s like before.

    I've been playing SWF this evening and the matchmaking/friendlist feature/SWF lobbies have been super buggy. I'm also on PS4.

    It's just how many people are playing cause of release, have fun facing only Demo for a week. He's fun to play as and against though.
