This update has somehow made killer DCs worse
Just went against a Huntress who couldn't catch me after three attempts throughout the trial. At the end she chased me across half the map while my teammates opened an exit and then decided to DC just as I crossed through the exit threshold. The game started to load the results screen and then the killer DC'd and I got sent to the main menu. Before when killers DC'd I would at least go to the results screen and I could see my teammates and the killer even if I lost my item and BP. Not anymore, apparently. I lost everything and went to the main menu.
Dedicated servers would be nice right about now. At least when killers throw their temper tantrum when they lose it will only hurt them.

Yesterday, I had this scenario happen multiple times: killer hooks someone, exit gate gets opened, survivor gets unhooked, killer finds out survivor is protected by Borrowed Time, killer immediately disconnects before anyone can escape.
I'd only ever had that happen like once before, but yesterday it happened multiple times.

Yeah killer DCs have definitely increased for me lately. Idk why. The only difference is that I played consistently enough to hit red ranks again the past couple of weeks.

While I agree killer DC's have been getting worse the new DLC drop plus the new lobbies has made a large impact that also should be accounted for.
I personally don't DC as a general rule but my matches yesterday and today have been particularly buggy. Either a survivor or 2 DC's, which I don't think it's them doing it on purpose as we just get into or just before a match, or my game crashes.
If I happen to remember the names I send a msg saying "hey sorry lagged out or game crashed" because playing killer it impacts all survivors. It's nothing I can control but I still feel bad especially if they burnt and offering.
Now for those that just DC because it's not the map they want or they are getting hooked, those need to held accountable in some way. I play on PS4 and there are days when playing killer is way less frustrating because survivors drop like flies or the killer DC's after 30 seconds in the match.
I really am looking forward to the servers because I'm hoping that there will be some way that these folks can be held accountable but also having the game be more stable would be added relief!

Couldn't possibly be that a perk that just got reworked, which everyone wants to try out, can randomly crash their game...

Actually I could tell all 4 perks they were using. It's cute how desperately you feel you need to defend a stranger simply because they were playing killer, though. 😂

me i simply crash when i hook a survivor, was having an amazing game with my new build with legion and i hook, bam, crash, ######### are the devs doing to their game?

Why dismiss him like that though? Just be civil about it. My first thought seeing this post was "maybe its just dying light" unless i missed a comment i see no reason to talk like that.

The update is still bugged and needs a patch !
There are many other things like When Searching for a Solo match and then you can't cancel once it connects .
Joins Party with errors , in a Seperate Matchmaking eventhough you're in the same party you can't see others .
