I really like demogorgon, but personally I feel that if you are in the middle of sealing a portal he shouldn't be able to come through it while you're doing so.
Just had some demos 3 times in a row that did nothing but place traps right by the exit gates during egc.
I know I'll be burned at the stake for this opinion tho.

Essentially the portal becomes a trap. Much like the Hag can set traps.
Its where you have to gate bait and someone is gonna have to get chased, otherwise everyone has to work as a team to seal the portal.

Demo has a cooldown after traveling to another portal if I'm right (haven't played him yet). There's an audio que when he travels, I just listen for that and when I do, usually means I have enough time to seal another portal. Been working so far.

Imagine if the gates are on opposite sides of the map.
It wouldn't matter if the hatch gets closed against a demo with portals at both gates its over he can go to 1 and hold a button until KI pops up.

I agree, its kinda odd when you're on 99% sealing and he just goes through it anyways...
Maybe at some percentage you can't travel as demo.

He can guard a gate with KI reading while being at another. See the blip pop up? Teleport.

What about if you stop, just say 80% for sealing the portal and get forced to leave. The percentage doesn't start over, but it decades over time like 3% every second or something. Would it be bad or...?

I'll say this, if you lose EGC as Demo, you need to stop playing killer. Portal at each exit, activated and wait. Perhaps increasing the range the portals can be placed by the gates would make a bit sporting? I know I've yet to lose an EGC. It's too easy.
I don't like closing the portal when survivors are trying to destroy it though. Defeats the purpose of Killer Instinct.
@DudeDelicious Not really. Most matches you'll see 1-3 portals destroyed. I have only intentionally held back my portals in one match. Never had a shortage.
