Get in a chase as soon as you can and down as quickly as you can while making sure the others aren't making much progress on the unblocked gens
In short, pretty much what you would do normally but some of the gens are blocked off.

Have you tried Whispers? It can tell you where a survivor is at in the radius of 48/40/32 meters. If not crows can help you locate them, from crow bombs to seeing a crow take off or come back, shows where they are at or were at.

Use Whispers. I'm assuming you feel like you're wasting your time because you're not playing killers who have a lot of set up like Trapper or Hag might. At that point, you'll need a tracking perk of some sort in order to chase people as soon as possible or risk losing 2 minutes of your life.

Well, generally I run Corrupt Intervention on killers that beg and plead for setup time even Ruin can't give them.
Trapper and Hag want as little survivor contact as possible in the first minute of the game, as they essentially have no power until their traps are set. Corrupt works nicely on them.
Plague can actually use Corrupt Intervention to locate survivors in the beginning of the game by puking on all generators in a circuit while Corruption lasts. It forces survivors to touch infected generators, starting your infections early and letting you know if they worked on a gen.
It works nicely with Haunted Grounds, because survivors look for totems if they can't do closest gens in my experience. It might drive them to do a totem and trigger Haunted.
Other than that,it essentially makes the map smaller for the first few minutes. You have less to patrol and thus need to check less places for survivors.
