Devs! Important! Please delay Bloodhunt for Twitchcon!

Devs! Please don't hold the bloodhunt during Twitchcon.

Streaming Dead By Daylight is a core part of the community and it seems counter-intuitive to hold the bloodhunt right when community members (including streamers) will be headed to Twitchcon and can't fully enjoy the bloodhunt. Please delay the bloodhunt by a week.

Community upvote this thread to get the devs' attention if you agree the bloodhunt should be delayed by a week. Do it for the streamers who have helped make the DBD community what it is today!

Every streamer I've ever watched by DBD is always so excited when there's a dbp event. Many of them are also excited about Twitchcon. Would it kill you guys to have to wait 1 more week for dbp? Many non-streamers also go to Twitchcon. Fyi I'm not a streamer, I'm just thinking about everyone, not just myself.

I've never even heard of this event. I really doubt there is going to be a large portion of the player base effected by this. There isn't very much time before the double bloodpoint event starts. I imagine many players have put in for time off at work or made arrangements so they could get in a lot of games during the event. It isn't fair to those players to change the dates now.

They only just announced the dates 2 days ago. In fact, it might make it easier for people to request time off a week later since they'll have more notice (if the devs change it soon).

@Thund3rstruck57 Absolutely not. A game should never put the Streamers over the general player base. They'll be at Twitchcon, which is a business decision for them. Behavior is not going to change the Bloodhunt for that.

Behavior already knew what they were doing since they will also be at Twitchcon as stated on the Developer Activities calendar. The bloodhunt has been scheduled and announced even with that already known. It starts this Thursday.

The fact that they were aware of this overlap and are still scheduling the dbp event that weekend is the whole point of this post. To try to get them to change their minds and move it to a weekend that makes more sense for the whole community. However, based on the responses to this post I'm rather appalled at the selfishness, greed, and lack of patience being shown here. This isn't the DBD community I know.

It's also worth noting that most people buy convention tickets more than a week in advance, which is all the notice the devs gave us about this bloodhunt (and no, I'm not going to Twitchcon before anyone asks).

But for the most part a big chunk of the people who stream this game dont really need the extra BP as someone else stated. The only would be so that they could now also max out everything for the Stranger things DLC. Seems unfair regardless of wether the developers knew about the event', having already announced it. The community is right to respond how they have...

It’s time is fine for me

should go as scheduled. I wouldn’t expect them to change for me.

Streamers already have max BP with 3 dailies ready, they don't need the Bloodhunt

Why not extend the double Bloodpoint event so everyone's a winner yayyyyyyyy

I think it would be dangerous territory if the devs cancelled or delayed an event just to suit some streamers.

Im sure there will be more double bp events in the future for the streamers to enjoy.

Nah, it better not get delayed.
