Not seeing much praise for the new friend system

And parties staying together. Why is that?

I only really play solo so I haven't gotten to use any of that. Is it working as advertised? Seems like people would be more excited about it but maybe we're a bunch of solo survivors here.

I don't think many are commenting on the new party system because it has been requested for a long time, and now that it's here it's pretty much what people expected. There are a few bugs, but otherwise it's not that spectacular.

It's something 99% of multiplayer games have day one.

It's awesome the devs could finally add it but its not anything super crazy.

Lots of the best changes aren't super crazy, IMO. The more QoL improvements the better.

Hard to praise it because it's buggy as hell. Causes too many loading problems.

Once they fix the bugs... no let me rephrase that. "If" they ever manage to fix the bugs (I'm not confident that BHVR can do it) this huge QOL feature will get a lot of praise. But right now it's about as much of a headache to use as the old Steam-based invite system that dumped you after each game.

The real issue is it took BHVR 3 years to implement something basic from Day 1 in just about every other multiplayer game in existence, and even then it's buggy as heck and causes more problems than it solves.

It's only been a week and I can't count on ten fingers the number of times I've had to restart the game because of the party system glitching out -- and I don't even play that much SWF.

That's the DbD community for you. You'll do something that's been asked for a long time and get very little response, but everyone complains about the role switch button being removed.

Which means when they do get praise they know they've done good.

The friend system is amazing. It's a great QOL feature that was long needed. It's just hard to enjoy with the matchmaking going bonkers.

It’s nice, but I don’t have friends to play with because they all quit because of how unbalanced and buggy the base game is. But it’s a cool feature.

It's quite buggy. I get matches my friends aren't in, I can't see them, and ready up issues.

    The list goes on.

Buggy, annoying for solo players and most SWF are toxic and don't actually like one another. Now they are forced into lobbies together making them feel the toxicity around them and forcing them to face the fact that THEY are the real monsters....all this physiological trauma causes them intense mental agony as they curl up in the corner of their rooms, huddled under a blanket crying endlessly for someone to save them from the torment they feel inside...

Oh did I say its buggy yet?
