And that’s what makes it so strong (in addition to most maps having reliable and strong BL points.) Either BL needs to have one of its effects stripped, or the 75% stun reduction needs to be baked into the exhaustion effect.

If you remove the passive BL becomes a crap perk, and nobody will use it, heheh.

Uh no, you act as if the killer doesn't move faster on paper and have perks that allow him to move even faster. Balance landing is strong but it is also map dependent and area dependent. This is why DH is still stronger because it allows you to make a mistake and recover and still gain distance no matter the area.
I wouldn't mind if they remove the stun reduction altogether the moment the killer also gets stunned. Till then it's a get good for me.
The reason why Balance Landing has passive because survivor needs to fall from the high ground to activate, which means it sometimes become too strong when that map is has a lot of high ground areas and sometimes become useless when that map is almost not have high ground area.
Meanwhile the other exhaustion perks can activated more easier than Balance Landing.(Even Hean On isn't that strong and hard to use but you still can find the locker in every map)
I used to have Balance Landing in every perk builds but now I just change it to Dead Hard or Lithe.
The fall reduction is the big reason why ppl pick the perk at all. Taking that away will cripple its usage.
BL doesn't need a nerf, just nerf the maps where BL is too strong, like Haddonfield.
I hear and see that BL can be abused some way or another, but I believe the 75% is there because if you fell and landed in the same manner without BL, you wouldn't get off any sort of sprint and the killer would catch up on your landing. I feel like that would defeat the purpose of having the perk then. If it was 100%, it'd be dumber than it is I assume. Maybe they can try 50% one day? Not sure if it makes a difference. I've tried Sprint Burst while falling and I think that's essentially a BL without the 75% fall recovery and it was useless as hell since the killer just smacked me while I landed.
The stun reduction is the reason people use Balanced Landing over other perks. However I think other perks need effects as well. There are very few windows to take advantage of Lithe unless you're on a select few maps. Faster vault speeds would make it a slightly better perk overall to allow it to somewhat compete with Balanced Landing. Sprint Burst doesn't really need any sort of extra effect, and Dead Hard is pretty crap tbh, but I can't think of anything it'd need to make it better and it's an overrated perk so a lot of people use it. It's only good for gaining distance to a pallet honestly, because if a killer knows you have it, you're basically gonna get hit regardless and waste your perk unless you use it to get to a pallet. I believe Lithe is the weakest overall though because it is the most map dependant.
The 75% reduction was originally based on exhaustion and let me tell you something, even before the exhaustion nerf, Balanced Landing without the passive was awful, you had to get to high ground and fall (usually allowing the killer to get the first hit) to do something that Sprint Burst would do instantly.
I'd rather see Lithe changed so that you can choose which window it will activate at, allowing you to only use it at the good windows where you'd actually get use out of the perk. Even if it had to be nerfed so that the speed boost isn't as great or doesn't last as long, I think it would see more use.
I feel like faster vault speed would be so much better. You'd be able to run loops better like BL can make some "loops" better. Also imagine NOT getting hit by wonky hitboxes AFTER you already vaulted a pallet and were away from it.
With how important vaults are to looping, I feel that would make it too powerful and it would be the only exhaustion perk anyone runs.
You’re saying you want more quasi infinites in the game? No thank you. Survivors have too many safe routes to circumvent the map which extends chases much longer than they should.
A small vault speed increase would not make Lithe OP. It's already the worst exhaustion perk because of how limited it is. There are not many windows on some maps(and some are traps when used with Lithe as they don't really help in a chase) and people generally break safe pallets instantly so Lithe would be fine.
If it was small enough just to help a tiny bit, it'd be fine. It'd just be able to compete with Balanced Landing.
Just use resilience and hope it's an M1 killer.

No, they only need to fix overly strong loops. They buffed BL to where it's at now. It wasn't worth carrying before.
