We meed to admit this to ourselves
We're all addicted to this game in both playing and just simply exposing ourselves to content of it, and despite knowing that the state of this game will never be perfect and it will always be a battle between two heavily biased sides like modern politics, we will continue to drown ourselves in its world for months at a time until we eventually get so tired with toxicity and game mechanics that we take a break - only to inevitably return to revive the cycle.
Real sad boy hours

"I inject heroine once a month on strictly a recreational basis"

Thank god I didn't have a smart phone in High School, I got past the phase of my life where I could've easily fallen into addiction lol

I definitely didn't spent two work days trying to come up with fan content for DBD. Nope.

Neither. 😊

Text and a constantly thinking mind is a terrible combo ;(

Just give it 5 years, we've seen the way the first 3 have went...

People with +2000 hours who say that are not addicted are hilarious lmao
Just accept it, I did it since I hit 1k hours and bought a skin for 10€... Sad pepe

I personally don't justify buying skins, especially since they're introducing a battle pass which in my opinion is a heavily predatory tactic for more revenue. I'm fine spending my shards on Shrine perks too

Nope, not everyone is addicted, so it isn't a "we're all."
I actually come and go from DbD quite a bit, with long stretches in the "gone" column. Hell, my amount of time in the game is nowhere near my amount of time on the forums, which is also why you never see me post about balance, nerfs, or buffs.
However, now that I've (mostly) walked away from the game that I did primarily play for the past three years (Overwatch), we'll see if DbD can hold me for longer.

Actually, I am not addicted
I have started playing cod again after the announcement of Tag Der Toten, I have slowed down on played DBD as this map has way better design than dbd in general

At 1999 hours...

Is it being addicted when I only play and watch others play DBD more than I'd would care to admit 🤣.
I feel a lot of the players have a love/hate relationship with the game. No other game has personally made me feel in such a way that I wanted to stay around for so long. Normally I would love on after a short time as I have a short attention span. So I have commend the devs for making a game that can do this for me.

Anyone with hundreds/thousands of posts on the forums probably is addicted.
True.

Some people here don't actually play the game for more than one or two matches actually, they just love discussing and being apart of the community.
Right? @NMCKE

I haven't played DBD in a while actually, but I love the forums! :)
