Ranking = rewards.
Why isn't this a thing?
It'll help stop purposely deranking , and actually give incentive to rank up.
Why not add some shard bonus come rank reset dependant on rank?
Also why is rank reset even a thing if you gain nothing from it but easier games?

There is a Rank Rework scheduled for after Chapter 14, so maybe something will come with that.

Chapter 14 should be around December, so any rank rework will definitely take place after New Year's here in the U.S., and onward through Spring 2020 since its placement on the roadmap seems to start then, and continue all the way to the end of the roadmap (which would be around May 2020).
So, now that I think about it, yeah, probably around six to eight months or so. Yikes!
