Ok so it seems to me that swf players don't like this change:( I for one really like this change :) Now one option to handle this issue since both sides are battling on what is a great change to a crappy change I say devs how about just removing swf completely sinice I believe that's the issue as to why match making takes a long time to find a match. So plz devs will you consider just removing swf? Yes I know swf players won't like my opinion :)
Also to all swf players if you don't won't them to remove this then I would advise you all to just deal with the change and play the game for fun:)
this is a great/nice change they did:)
P.s plz devs can you consider to just removing swf completely? Since this looks like what was causing match slow making.

If you want people to go back to lobby dodging to get their friends as solos like they did before SWF was added, go ahead. What you propose would make people wait longer between games than ever, as between the people that simply stop playing the game and the people queue-sniping their friends there will be a lot of extra waiting for everyone else that plays the game.

Remove SWF? No, that will kill the game for survivor. Have an option to toggle on and off SWF? (getting games with them) Maybe. But queue times would most likely be longer :/

I mean I totally agree with you there. People are way too negative and blow nerfs/buffs completely out of proportion for example.
It's quite understandable that people complain if they suddenly get longer queues than before though, and the people that seem happy about it just because it hits survivors/SWF the most doesn't help with the cringy cycle of hostility either 😄

So, I don't understand the OP. They merged "Play as Survivor" with "Survive with Friends" and added the in-game friends list and actually IMPROVED the SwF experience (stay in group lobby after match) in the process.
Unpopular opinion: SwF didn't get removed - they just don't call it that anymore. If anything they doubled down on it.

This is bait, but let me say the obvious: removing the ability to play with friends would not only destroy the playerbase at its activation, but would cause lobby dodging so people COULD still play with their friends.
