Myers does not remove all aura reading except for in Tier 1. Myers does not stay in Tier 1 for long unless it's Scratched Mirror. Dead Hard is not a band aid fix to toxic behavior on the killer's end, Borrowed Time is. Oh and Freddy is strong btw.

You need to read the perk descriptions. It is plenty clear how the interaction works. Proximity has nothing to do with how borrowed time works. Never has. It is based on whether the player with borrowed time is in or out of the killer's terror radius. Oblivious makes it so a player is always outside the terror radius until the effect ends. That means any sleeping survivor with borrowed time will not trigger the borrowed time effect. Pretty simple really.

DS still works on him and I'm a sensory perk user. Unless Myers stop stalking wtv the tier your perks won't trigger.

The only time aura reading perks do not work on Myers is if he's in Tier 1. Once he hits tier 2 they work.

I'm talking about sensory reading perks. Although, I often use "Dark sense" and I never ever saw it work on Myers unless he stopped stalking.

This is no different than Insidious.... just you know do what survivors have been known to do since the beginning of time.... Adapt.
You can still use BT against Freddy, you just now have two conditions to meet: don’t be asleep and have someone else take the hit while the sweater boy camps you can totally grab the person off the hook.

He's basically saying even with BT once the survivor is off the hook and hit once they get no terror radius so the timer continues to deplete kinda like moonwalking legion but without the moonwalking

Yea but if he decides to just camp the hook he won't be punished like other killers are and it's basically encouraging players to camp instead of natural gameplay

You're asking two people to adapt who likely aren't in communication, it's not that simple, and literally every time someone uses Insidious, they don't use it to prevent BT, they use it to get someone to think they're safe coming for the hook rescue so they can get another hook, or they're Bubba and don't want anyone leaving their basement. If you use Insidious to prevent BT, you have to be in a position where you don't move until they do the unhook, in which case they can move to a side where you're forced to move to hit the person just unhooked.
I feel like they should change ONE TINY LINE of BT to fix this. "While unhooking an ally who is in the terror radius of the killer". This would fix it as the person on the hook is always awake and thus cannot be affected by the lullaby until they're unhooked.

I said this in another thread but I’ll say it again, this is a simple fix, all bE has to do is add back the requirement of being out of a chase before the timer ticks down on top of the terror radius stipulation.
I’m pretty sure Myers, Pig and Ghostface all initiate chases even when Undetectable so they would be fine. Not sure what they can do to stop The Wraith from abusing this, but he always could do this and never has from any of my experiences so I guess it’s fine.

Maybe add a deep sleep mechanic with Freddy to make his terror radius disappear/appear if you are asleep for too long (180 seconds) just to give a reason to want to wake up.
I don't know which way would work best but I feel like not being able to hear the terror radius on a non stealth killer is kinda cheap.

True, but the only benefit I find from Spinechill and Premonition being used on non stealth Killers is a slight head start on 32M Killers and a good head start on 24M and smaller Killers. Not useless sure, but I feel most people run it for stealth Killers (and apparently Spirit lol), so it’d make them even harder to go against especially with how broken taking Ghostface out of his stealth is.

It's certainly disproportionately useful against stealth Killers. But I mostly use Spine chill to get information on the Killers exact location.
When you know the Killer is looking at you vs when they aren't you can estimate their angle and thus the optimal way to hide. And it can inform you if the Killer has no idea where you are and thus that you can keep working on your gen.
It also helps you complete an objective last second with the 6% increase in speed but that one is niche.

It wasn't "buffed twice" it was tweaked. This however is a flat out buff, one Freddy doesn't need.
Doesn't matter my point is that they fixed these perks to work on Freddy, now they are broke again. Any future within-TR-range-effect-perks won't be of use on him.
Also Coulrophobia was very strong on both the old and new Freddy. Slowing down healing is a big deal. But now it's not even an option.
Borrowed Time is just fine right now, they don't need to add this new status effect, especially to Freddy. Lullaby should count as a TR. It's about balance not wanting a free anti-BT on an already strong killer.
If you do Overcharge with stacked dresses you can make a skill check cost like 15% of a gen. Without Unnerving that loses all point though, since base Overcharge skill check is easy to hit.
I use to main old Freddy and I've played quite a lot of new Freddy with a lot of tactics. I'm telling you guys that giving him a free anti-BT is really unbalanced. Old Freddy yea throw the dude a bone, but the new one no he is plenty strong.

Letting them fail skill checks with OC and all that was fine on old Freddy. You don't wanna deal with having no power in a chase for 60 seconds with new Freddy.

Why would you wnat to ru. Unnerving on Freddy? Unless you are concerned for ds i. Which you shouldnt be tunneling. Amd unless you are runmimg the add on that keeps survivors in dream world even with a missed skill check.

Technically Unnerving and Coulrophobia will still work with Freddy, Survivors just have to be awake for that to be the case, so this gives them even less of a reason to do it.

It was indeed buffed twice. Not intentionally, as they were merely byproducts of the Legion's release (Deep Wound change made it so the timer no longer goes down while chasing the person protected by Borrowed Time) and the Legion's re-balancing (now Borrowed Time timer doesn't go down as long as you are within the Killer's TR, which is a buff against anyone minus Wraith, Pig, and Ghostface; also the Killer can no longer see the timer going down), but they are changes that made Borrowed Time better. Freddy's buff undoes most of that and allows Freddy to counter it similar to other killers who can shut off their TR.

No it wasn't buffed. It was tweaked because of new Legion.
This isn't a tweak. It's a direct buff, a very strong one. They just give Freddy Oblivious when you are asleep. He doesn't need a counter to BT he is a plenty strong killer. Again I play him regularly.
And it's not the same as other killers...
-Wraith has to decloak first. You can also force him out of cloak with a flashlight.
-Pig has to either stand up or ambush which is not a very effective attack on someone that was just saved.
-GF can be broken out of his stealth.
-Myers has to be in tier 1 for proper stealth options which means he is slow.
All of these killers have counter play options to trigger a BT proc, and if they can deny a BT proc there is at least some catch. Giving Freddy Oblivious in DW is neither of these. He can just hit you, put you to sleep and now BT just won't work. You can go wake up but the fact he puts you to sleep when he hits you makes this pointless. He doesn't have to decloak or do some sort of easy-to-dodge attack out of stealth, he can just do whatever he wants when he wants.
This is not a good change, at least not for Freddy. If anything, make Pill Bottle inflict Oblivious in DW instead of what it currently does, but as base kit no this shouldn't be a thing. Freddy doesn't need this kind of buff.

How is giving Borrowed Time changes that make it better not a buff, but giving a change to Freddy that effectively takes away those changes a huge buff? You can't have it both ways.
Also, Pig and GF's options are not that much different from "hit the Survivor" when it comes to flat-countering BT. If anything, they are arguably easier because they don't even need to hit the unhooker before they make the save. They just need to turn on their stealth mode at the right time.

There's no point in arguing over what is or isn't a buff. Freddy's already a good killer, this change allows unsportsmanlike killers to avoid a band-aid fix to unsportsmanlike play, while all other options that could potentially do this, have counterplay. Freddy's changes have none. Even Myers has a 6m TR when in tier 1 btw.

Borrowed Time wasn't tweaked, was flat out buffed, period. Freddy was the one tweaked, because now some perks are useless on him ( despite them being all bad besides Infectious Fright ), while OoO is stronger against him now. So this isn't a flat out buff as you say it is. You can still proc BT against Freddy if you are asleep and Freddy isn't hard camping.

So legion got completely destroyed because of things like moonwalk.
But now, it is intended for a killer to run after someone and wait for them to die and there is nothing that you can do to stop it.
Freddy doesnt even need to moonwalk. Im very confused.

The difference is that Legion could hit you with his power at any time he wanted, while Freddy can activate Deep Wounds only when you have BT on you. So if your team does save unhooks, then it shouldn't be a problem. In end game, you have 15 seconds to find the gate and leave, that should be enough time.

It's still an exploit that makes you go down no matter what. You get that feel that it doesn't matter if you played right or outskilled the killer.
That argument brought the legion's update.
A lot of people don't know about this sinergy and unsafe unhook you.

No the problem is that BT doesn't even proc. If you unhook someone they are awake. They have to get hit or be chased for 60 seconds to fall asleep. What you guys are talking about is irrelevant to the discussion.
