New Killer Idea - Tall Man (Phantasm)

My idea is to create the killer from the Phantasm franchise. The player would control the tall man who would have a very slow movement speed and a poisoned dagger in case survivors try to harass him. If a survivor get's stabbed he begins to move to dying state and must find a highlighted mushroom on the map to prevent going into dying state.

For his main attack he can launch one of his bladed spheres and becomes invisible. These move very fast but have a very limited field of view. If, during it's period of activation, it finds and hits a survivor then that survivor is put into the dying state. When the sphere deactivates the Tall Man respawns somewhere in the vicinity of where the sphere was last seen and can try to collect any downed survivor before they are healed by teammates.

He can also trap a generator or two with his hooded dwarves, which will stand guard on that generator, attack any survivor that approaches for a light wound and alert the Tall Man to the survivors presence.

Possibly. I've never heard of it, and I was born in the late 90s.

I was born late 60s. Mind you, i was talking to a friend who plays DbD the other day, he's only in his twenties and he'd heard of the franchise.

Who knows, maybe Hollywood will do a reboot at some point (they don't seem that keen to do much new, original stuff these days).
