DONT "FIX" THE RANKS ON NINTENDO SWITCH
If you're not aware, there's a "glitch" on the Switch version where your killer/survivor rank resets each time you start up the game. This is amazing!
We have unranked games where everyone matches with everyone. It takes mere moments to get into a lobby and start a game. It's absolutely fantastic! Please! Don't "fix" it!
Or, at the very least, bring an unranked mode to the game so I can enjoy this on Pc and PS4 as well.

That's a ######### load better than the PS4 crockery we have now. Well, I am in envy — for that and not being able to get Super Mario Maker. :(

If they don't fix it then they need to let the killer see if the survivors are swf or not. A new player meeting 4 red rank survivors on comms a lot will be extremely off putting to them

If I can easily destroy them then neither of us will have fun and something like this would potentially drive new players away.

I have a feeling like 4 Red Rank SWFs on comms is not going to be common at all on Switch. Switch is such a casual gaming console and community in general. They don't take ######### seriously. My ex plays Switch and he can't play DBD for #########.
Also since it's Switch, comms in general are even less likely.

If you are a person with 1,000s of hours in the game going up against someone who just bought it yesterday, they are going to get "bullied" even if you go easy on them.
Bullied not in the sense of you being malicious and purposefully making them feel bad, but the reality is they will just be outclassed and it won't be a competitive game for anyone.

Call of Duty isn't Dead by Daylight.
The Asymmetric Nature of this game makes the pvp a lot more intense and can make it feel a lot more unfair for one side than the other.
Survivors who are new to this game have to deal with a lot more than a newb in a Call of Duty game.

Ha Ha. The memories. This was also the case for a good number of PS4 users (myself included) when the game first launched in June of 2017.
And it wasn't patched until late that October.
Definitely introduced you to more varying skill levels on both sides.

In the COD community there has been a lot of whining whenever skill based matchmaking is implemented or thought to be implemented.
And while some of the reasons are potentially understandable if they were true at all (like being afraid the game prioritizes skill too much over connection quality) there's a group of people there that genuinely believe "skill based MM makes youtuber videos/streams less exciting because they can't go 50-2 as much" which is absolutely hilarious and pathetic.
The usual "i don't want to sweat every game" and "i want to use weaker guns" is there too of course.

When the game first launched on PC. It had a rank bug as well. If you left too late post game you lost a PIP. If you left the post game after the Killer, you lost 2 PIPs.

I'm split on this (don't play Switch) on one hand I hate when I have to wait ages to get a single game only for people to DC and ruin the game. On the other hand I'm not a fan of really easy matches where you steamroll the killer or the survivors.
Still think I would rather the quicker matches though. However I don't think this currently broken issue is the answer.

Please fix the ranks. I am tired of having a bunch of new survivors when I should be in red ranks. It’s annoying.
