Question about the archives and bots

I love the game lore , but i suck at it. Is there any chance of adding bots like the friday 13th game did? I know its hard, but some people out there like me are just terrible. It makes it hard to have fun, and im a die hard horror fan so i really love the ideas and characters in the game.


also i read that archives will introduce single player content such as challenges, is that correct?

    I don't think bots will be added. For Archives that was shown so far is you do certain things for that Killer/Survivor and you get a prize from doing them. Example:Trapper- Trap someone as they vault a window. Claudette-Heal 'X' survivors with Empathy perk equipped.

    I think that Survivor bots could work but the killers have such varied play styles it would be difficult to get the AI engineered to them all.

    Survivor bots could easily do gens, run away, drop pallets, search chests, cleanse totems, unhook and open the gates. But would they miss those skill checks? 🤔

    Could you imagine the AI being tactical as a killer? It would be absolutely hilarious.😄

    The issue with bots is that the A.I. to make for this specific game is tricky, the best they've done is the tutorial A.I. which is as challenging to face as playing Nurse with a mori against Rank 20s... AKA it isn't a challenge at all (And no that reference wasn't related to anything from the past lmao)

    The point is though, to make A.I. that can be challenging for advanced players, while instructive for new ones can only go as far as the tutorials and nothing more. If you want to get some practice, you'll have to just ask some friends to play a KYFs with you and do some training there.

    That, or you can just play the game solo, the best practice is personal experience in the game itself with real people!

    I suck at it. And ive played it a fair amount. I would like to be able to feel like a bad ass killer for once or someone that can survive. The only times I manage to survive is pretty much doing little and waiting for others to fix gens. Otherwise im killed fairly quick

    If bots were programmed to cleanse totems and do gens, they would skip the entire searching section, heading instantly to the hex totems and hitting all greates. As for looping, I don't think there's much an improvement from the one in the tutorial.
