    A killer DC'ed from my match and it didnt even take me to the score screen. Just back to the main menu. I lost a rank, and I assume I received no points. And im absolutely positive my internet was 100% fine.

    This just happened to me too, its why im making the post lol. A Ghostface dced because he tried to tunnel me but someone took a hit and i was gonna make it out. Lost my purple flashlight and all the points i earned (even had 4 wglf stacks) :(

  • Check your inventory, item could still be there, also This may be a big so make sure to fill out a report and be specific about what you were doing before the killer DC.

    You lose stuff when the killer force closes the app.

    You keep it plus 5000 BP for the escape when they just leave the game.

    Why is this situation still a thing?

    @Peanits @not_Queen @Almo

    Can you folks find a way to avoid losing all the BP and exp when the app is forced to close. Especially true on ps4

  • PS4: This has actually happened to me quite often. I always know how many BP I have going into a match. I've had matches where Killer DCs & it takes me back to the lobby with no BP earned or sometimes it shows me the results of the previous match with no BP earned. I haven't been using WGLF lately because it's buggy. Sometimes I don't get the bonus BP. I had a long match recently with 4 stacks. My score was 29K so I was psyched to get double points, but I didn't get the bonus. I'm not going to waste a perk slot when there's a chance it won't give me the bonus.

    Playing survivor, I see that happen at the end of every match on PS4. It's constant. It means you don't get XP if your the last to escape you don't get my 5K escape points. So frustrating as I've now missed out on 50k+ bloodpoints because of this bug. Pay attention to your bloodpoints after the killer DC's. Not sure if it affects other categories. It's a killer glitch to keep survivors from getting the full amount of bloodpoints they're suppose to get.

    This is most likely due to the DC bug thats been happening since this new patch. It doesn't have to do with the killer DC'ing, at least not most of the time. If it boots you to the start screen randomly then its cause of the stupid ass bug thats been going on now. Everyone else stays in the match.

    I would agree with you but... it wasn't happening all the time till more killers heard about it now it's an all the time thing. Not to mention they've admitted to it and it doesn't always take you back to the main screen. Some time you still in end game screen and that's how it was figured out originally. It is a glitch but it's a glitch that's not controlled or caused by DBD this time it's the player. At first it was only a few games here an there now it's every single game! And you figure if killers were really losing points like it claims on end game screen there would be a uproar and some mention of it somewhere and nothing.

    Except that the matches continue on as usual. Also it happens when I'm killer too, survs randomly disconnect and it doesn't play the sound.

    It only happens at the very end of game when either the survivor dies or escapes.
