Killer character: An american 20-35 male infantry officer

Story concept: A servant of the motherland, who became a true brutal and merciless warrior during Vietnam war. One day, he almost bleeded out after a very intense battle where everyone of both sides died, but thanks to The Entity, which occupated the battlefield, he survived and still serves, but now not the country...

Stats: Speed - 4.4 m/s, terror radius - 36 m, height - tall

Base weapon (M1) - Ka-Bar knife/Combat shovel

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Ability - Service gun(M1911A1):

How it works: The ability works pretty similarly to The Doctor's one. If u hold "M2", when you have the knife(the shovel) in your hands, you will switch to the pistol (Shooter mode). In this mode, holding "M2" causes iron sights aiming. When the aiming scale is full, you can press (or hold?) "M1" to make a shot, but unlike the Doctor's ability, after each shot the scale just gets to 0 and starts filling up, so you don't need to press "M2" again to "charge" the shot. Pressing "M1" in Shooter mode without aiming won't do anything (unlike The Doctor, you won't can even grab a survivor or open a locker), but will start holstering, so if you want to get back to the normal mode, you need to hold "M1" without aiming. If u need to reload the pistol, you have to hold "Ctrl" while in Shooter mode, so the following animations will be happening, each with its own scale: 1) Deattaching of the magazine; 2) Repeating animation of loading the magazine with a single bullet; 3)Attaching the magazine to the pistol; 4) Releasing the shutter and cocking, if the pistol is completely empty. Note: the chamber can hold 1 bullet itself, so the pistol may be loaded by 8 bullets(7+1).

Technical ability stats: Range of bullet fly is up to 48 m (the real world's effective distance of pistol shooting is 50 m), it uses hit tracing system, instead of The Huntress' physical projectile (with its own velocity and ballistics). Shot can be heard from any distance, though the sound depends on the range of the listening.

Damage ability stats: If a bullet hits a healthy survivor, he becomes injured. If a bullet hits an injured survivor, he gets a 20-second "deep wound" debuff. Each hit of deep wounded survivor depletes 5 seconds. So, to kill a healthy survivor, you need to land 6 shots out of 8 successfuly.

Need to say: of course, The Servant is an experienced gunner, though (un)holstering, aiming, reloading, even pulling a trigger require some effort from him, which may translate in the actual time the character needs to do these actions; what the exact time is the question for the developers, because it's too hard to tell without any testing. And yes, he lost/spent extra magazines in his last battle for the sake of the balance :D

And, of course, The Servant comes with 3 unique perks:

________________________________________________

1) Broken, Beat & Scarred:

What don't kill you makes you more strong.

If a survivor stunlocks you (pallet drop, flashlight save/burn, escape of grasp by Deceisive strike, Head On and etc except a default escape of grasp), you gain a Bloodlust I/II/III. Perk has a cooldown - 90 seconds.

"You rise, you fall, you're down, then you rise again"

_________________________________________________

2) No Remorse:

No Remorse, no repent, you don't care what it meant.

If started chase was finished by downing a survivor, you gain 1 token out of 4, but if survivor escapes during the chase, you lose one. Each token gives you 1/2/3% movement speed, so up to 4/8/12%.

"No remorse is the one command"

_________________________________________________

3) Seek & Destroy:

Your brain is on fire with the feeling to kill and it won't go away, until your dream is fulfilled.

Auras of survivors, who are next to an opened hatch up to 24/28/32 m are revealed to you.

"There is no escape and that's for sure"

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Addons:

_________________________________

Ace of spades (ultra rare) - Each hit of deep wounded survivor deplets 6.5 seconds instead of 5

_________________________________

HP bullets (rare) - Shots inflict "Haemorrhage" and "Mangled" effects to deep wounded survivors

_________________________________

Smooth trigger (uncommon) - Slightly increases firerate

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Epilogue - "Does The Servant suit to the game?"

I guess that 90% of DBD community is sure that the killer with a gun should not be in the game. And, even more, I was used to be part of this majority back then in 2016, when the game didn't have that many gameplay mechanics like nowadays. But now, with all the content that exists there, the gunner concept is much more, than just a far dream: 1) Shooting works similarly to The Doctor; 2) Reloading works similarly to The Clown; 3) Damaging works similarly to The Legion (in the very beggining, before the fix).

As you can see, The Killer concept doesn't come with some completely brand new mechanics, but uses those, which are (were) already implemented. Only the hit tracing system is new for the game, but there is no a big reason to make it more complex as The Huntress' one - the real world's M1911 bullet's muzzle velocity is about 250 m/s - all the maps are too small to make realistic shooting significant, so for the sake of optimization IMHO it's better to be like this.

If you really like the concept, leave some feedback in the comments, because this is the only way to increase the chance of taking the developers' attention. Also, english is not my native language, so I'm sure that I made some grammatic mistakes there - feel free to correct me. Thank you for the reading)
