End Game Timer
So there is this bullshit glitch were the timer when the gates are opened on PS4 dont move at all and you cant tell how much time you have left which is complete bullshit as it causes people die for no reason and help out some camping piece of ######### killer. So when is this ######### going to be fixed?

The whole reason the end game was created was so survivors wouldn't hang around, just leave, you don't need to go back for that save, especially if the killer is camping to secure a kill.

Just leave... As stated above. The mechanic was added because survivors would hold the game hostage before by not leaving. If you must go for the save then the audio cues are not bugged. (The bells that chime) people have posted when they go off and how much time you have left when they do. Also i dont believe the map visual is bugged, so as the map starts getting more of those red spatter marks it means its getting close to the timer being up.
I understand its frustrating but in most of my games where survivors have died to it its literally them waiting IN the gate area for me to come show my face to watch them leave and or so I can watch their t bag party. Nowadays i laught when i hear the entity kill them and im accross the map looking for pallets I didnt break.

That's true. However, is it wrong to expect the timer to show...you know, the actual time you have left.
But lets be honest, consoles are just the cash cow, they only give a damn about PC

It should show since it was added for a reason. Alot of frustration is because its a mechanic which isnt working and is being detrimental to one side (survivors) by them not having it.
As a killer player i dont have a need for an end game countdown. Because i dont just auto lose when it ends, the way a survivor does if they havent escaped.
But i feel that even though it is a major frustration to survivors who've gotten used to just being able to look at the timer and know its time to go. Right now you could use the lack of there being one to train themselves on how to not need it. Because often times theres alot of stuff thats broken with this game. But i dont see the EGC going away and since its not. I do agree they should fix it.
But its also probably not as easy as we think to figure out what caused it to break. Is it a specific perk? Is it a specific survivor? Is it a specific killer? Perk combination? Map the trials on? Cosmetic skin being used? Theres a crapton of things in this game now so their having to test every single thing to figure out why its broken. And then finally they have to let us know that a hotfix or patch is being developed to solve thw issue. It may take a while sadly :(

I mean I agree something like that needs to be fixed. But you sound like you think killers shouldn't camp when the exit gates are open, or why would you insult killers who play like that otherwise? And if so, please tell me what a killer is supposed to do otherwise once the exit gates are open and he has a survivor hooked?

Its bugged on PC as well. Its another good example of bad coding and the absense of any QA prior to release in this company whatsoever

Every game that goes left usually ends up with someone escaping regardless of the killer camping or not, hell leaving the hook for whatever reason lowers your chance of at least securing one last kill. As a Survivor I expect killers to camp around the time we go down to the last gen or endgame.

Thanks for the responses guys they we really helpful. Also for ad19970 the specific situation was a spirit tunnelled me the entire game and then once that worthless piece of ######### got me she camped me and one of the survivors was a complete idiot as well as he opened up the gates instead on 99%. Anyways she just camped there while they did try to save me and once they did i was running over to the doors and get killed by the entity as there must have been like 5 seconds left and from what i and my friends have experienced that timer at the end only really seems to help the ######### camping killers who are unable to use their brain so once they hook someone their final brain cell dies and they just stand their doing nothing. So thats why i hate the timer because it only helps moron killers.

Hotfix was just released that solves this bug though if you just leave when the gate is open it wouldn't have been an issue.
